Garrett, LCSW of www.lindsaygarrettlcsw.com about her book Parent Goals: The Millennial's Guide to New Parent Preparedness.  Lindsay has written a book to help to be parents with the emotional preparedness for parenthood.  She has spent her career working with families to do just that and now Lindsay leads you through the mental prep work needed before having children.  During this episode Lindsay shares how she couldn't find a book like hers so she wrote one.  Lindsay shares about the importance of the transition to parenthood that focuses on the parents and not just the child.  There are lots of resources for parenting the child, but fewer for the parents own transition.
