EPISODE 11 WHEN THE WORK FEELS SMALL
from OnePastor Hosted by Donnie Lafferty
What am I doing in this JOB? God has MORE for me....Right? What do you do when you feel called to more—but you’re still stuck in the ordinary? This episode unpacks the sacred tension between the calling on your life and the field you're still in. Just like David in 1 Samuel 16:13, anointed as king but sent back to tend sheep, you may feel hidden, delayed, or overlooked. But small doesn’t mean insignificant. Jesus said in Luke 16:10, “Whoever is faithful with very little will also be faithful with much.” And Zechariah 4:10 reminds us not to despise small beginnings. You’re not behind—you’re being built. The crown is coming. But for now… honor the field.
