Chef grew out of HJK Solutions, an automated infrastructure consultancy responsible for helping build some of the earliest large-scale production cloud infrastructures. A systems administrator at heart, Adam has also been responsible for internal corporate automation, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts, and a whole lot of systems automation.
