Okay, since attention span has a really really small right now, we're gonna keep this simple help us wait What are we doing see oh yeah? Oh, yeah, I love us love by lowering a bar was that right? Is that a right one? I think so okay good in long form go to kickstarter.com slash projects slash nowhere dash Josh Slash lowering dash the dash bar, which is a long way of saying help us out This is Nick and this is Josh and welcome to episode one eleven of nowhere, California one six You can remember I was in ours But I know probably your time during school is called remedial Remedial we also use an abacus.

Oh, okay. Yeah, some dials and one on okay Along with other numbers this episode actually makes you could possibly make you feel a little bit older It is the sixth anniversary of nowhere, California Are you serious deadly serious number seven we are entering in our seventh year are we we tied now with a fast and furious? Oh, well, no, they didn't just it eight. Yeah, we're one behind I'm we've we've lost it longer than Shasta, but nasty We've lost it a lot longer than Shasta, nasty We're yeah, okay, okay, yeah because we did more than 100 episodes, but then yeah We still got to chase a fast and furious a little bit.

Fuck it Shasta, McNasty. I want to be please academy though Okay, we do that. Yeah, because I hate Michael Winslow. Why he wouldn't sign my autograph, but it's Michael Winslow.

I know Anyways off of therapy subjects for me There's something I kind of want to throw out here and kind of get your thoughts on this sure kind of it's kind of a what if situation Where do you think we would have been six years ago if Phil would have been like no when I first initially approached him about doing nowhere, California I'm gonna go is with what is blowing sailors for $5 a pop well you okay, sir. Yeah, but I just looking at it You know here's the thing it's hard for me to wrap my head around that and the reason I say that is because You know Phil Phil is such a creative person. He's kind of a little explorer You know whatever Avenue is that allows me to be artistically creative and the fact that came from you know one of his best friends in the entire world And it happened to revolver and movies. That's right.

You're lucky he didn't impale you with a boner Well, yeah, but also too You gotta probably imagine probably thinking okay Josh wants to talk in front of a microphone He is a very quiet dude. Right this won't last too long I think maybe he figured it was going to kind of balance out with the way he speaks You know as opposed to maybe your fear of speaking in yeah in public See but that's the thing although we're speaking to our public. We're not really speaking in public Yeah, exactly hence the fact that we record with no pants. Yeah.

Well, it's a comfort zone for me It's a primal thing. Yeah a thong for me. Yeah. Well, I mean after the colonoscopy.

Yeah, I gotta be careful I'm gonna start with old jokes. We're going right for your ass I really can picture a world in which Phil you know wouldn't have agreed. Yeah, that's the way Phil is and that's kind of a I guess to go into the normal anniversary stuff for us is my usual like oral blowjob you guys Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, I know one of the same I want to be prepared for this But yeah, every year it just reminds me more and more like how much I appreciate the fact that you guys are taking this journey and willing to keep rolling with it and I owe a lot to you guys and Especially with how this year has been for me. I've had some interesting points this year from tire issues to What issues?

That's right. Yeah, but I know a lot to you guys and I know the other two are listening right now And I'll get a few need to be named checked. Well, you know like on behalf of the guys, you know, thank you for that yeah, but you know Doug Doug Amoni relocated and You know, they've been setting up their camp, you know down near Los Angeles and San Clarita Yeah, Santa Clarita area and You know trying to keep their ducks in a row feels gone through, you know, some personal stuff and things like that this year more recent Than any else You know, I'm by the way you do you will hear from him in a later portion of this episode. Yes.

Yes We finally did you know get out and found out what he was doing It's weird cuz you know during the summertime he's kind of curls around the bed like he's jab of the hub You can't lay in there. Oh, I still kind of bad with the like one of the recent recordings I blatantly called him an asshole now you're freaking comparing on the job. Not in size just you know And he in the fact of a light shut up anyway to get back to my point You know you you have done so much for the show not only just in creation and in concept and launching of this whole show but your patience this year has been tremendous with all the ups and downs that we've had and going through the things that you've gone through with your own personal struggles and whatnot You know, you really are the driving force behind this this podcast and everything that we do with it the website Instagram Twitter Facebook Oh, by the way, we got another like from Mel Brooks See I'm already stroking his dick and then he has to like Just blow it alone. Okay, I'm ready to go I had that weird brain when somebody's like you're awesome.

You're awesome. I can say something fuck this shit up You're like well a lot more awesome than you give me credit for cuz Mel Brooks give us like number two I hope Mel Brooks official turns out to be like a one-eyed. Oh, yes. Hey, I see as long as I never find that out My gogadot, sorry was probably Yeah, you never know like some heavy said dude from the Midwest like we've said anybody can get any kind of spring Name they want exactly we were able to get no or calvary.com Tell you that was like the boon in the what was the early 90s late 90s as you know Dot coms were coming up big if you bought up celebrity names and they wanted to have their own website with their name I like a lot of pushing to oh, you can make a mint of selling people back their names I won't say the name of the person because I don't know if they're gonna be cool I'll be saying this but there's a person that we've interviewed in the past that does that and I kind of Tripped you out there, but I kind of went therapy with the whole like I can't stand compliment.

I have to make it stupid I got but um to continue the kind of the things and we always give out these things every year because this kind of a reset point For us and we just want to make sure there's certain people that know where they stand with us and the next people I'm about to mention probably never listen to us. So I guarantee mine does not yeah, but I'm still gonna mention I'm basically the better half of you guys since I'm only the lonely oh This guy look at me I know he's got the biggest ego stroke then turns around and toots his own horn and then gets the sympathy vote at the end I know how to work the mind of these United States. I have an IQ over 20 and integrity yes broken as it may be Mike why your name is integrity You know, but I definitely would want to think like you're badass because of just one letting us like into their houses Like we didn't pass when Doug lived out here and now with your place and over at Phil's the original podcast area Yeah, you know what we you know, I will extend that gratitude as well to my lovely wife Christina to Clearly Doug's better half Monique She's prettier and smarter no You know and to Alicia as well, you know the fact that You know that they are so comfortable with this recording You know Alicia encourages Phil to get out there and do everything that he can to diverse by himself You know whether be acting on stage or screen or whatever maybe so she's super supportive of this, you know And then with like money can jump right in yeah, Christina's jumped into a couple times Christina gets involved to oh speaking which on where does the Donna Justice bet like oh Okay, well while I feel they've been I've liked it a superb job as Batman or at least a decent job as Batman the entire content of the movie forced our hand and Well the old saying is happy wife happy life. So yeah, you win honey.

She got the boobs She's not always about saying you get to see her and you can actually have to see you naked Hey, you're gonna dig big tonight like three in the morning Hey Anyway, yeah I was about to say that's recent I dress in layers Okay, so you know, but really it's it's just a Miracle that really our well, you know our better haves as we call them or our partners in crime in a lot of cases They share our similar views, you know, Christina may not be the overt geek that I am but she is still at over geek We like the same things if you look you know, I'm staring at our DVD well right now And you'll see doubles of several of these films that we have You know, I've never really seen people have doubles of porn though Well, you know, you're burning one out. Yeah, come on, man. I come from the area the VHS Okay, I especially born to be kind of rewinder Yeah, you don't ever want to jump in where somebody finished off that kind of and you know rewinding fastboarding sometimes you burn a Power to so you know with that being said, thank you very much to the lovely ladies in our life You know, even the ones that Josh has to pay for so sir Yes, they're all cool. Yeah, that's a very cool feature But no, thank you very much for all of your support and letting us do what we do and I guess the wrap up this Thinking part I guess it'd be best to end it with thinking the silent masses that lay on the internet for us Yeah, it's crazy, you know the first time we really started delving into who listens to the podcast Yeah, you know, we knew that it was gonna be a close knit fan base.

Yeah, mostly people we work with and yeah But then we started getting pings from other countries. Yeah, whether it be Mexico or Canada or Russia without hacking Yeah, Russia great Britain popped up Germany and then we got Australia. Yeah, and I'm a holy shit That's what it has a new unit, right and and you'll be hearing some stuff about Tassier coming up pretty soon as well But it just really dawned on us, you know how small this world is and how globally connected we are through stuff like this And so as long as we have one listener out there even if it's just us we're gonna keep doing it Oh, yeah, as long as it stays fun. We're gonna go for those of you that have really supported us You know that stick in there for all the dumb shit that we do like that's going off the rails for last I don't have an hour.

We've been talking to yeah, um You know, thank you. Thank you for backing us. Thank you for supporting us away you guys have I don't know does that wrap up the well, I can there's a little bit more of a I guess a little poise quote Post-coides I got it throughout there too It's the simple words now that fucking suck at that's true, but going into the whole the listenership and everything too lately Our reach has been going further like we talked about earlier in July the fact that we had quote in a actual movie trailer Yeah, and then recently we just got a hit just a random cold hit on Facebook to consider reviewing a comic book Right and you know, this is this is the early stages for a podcast has been going on for seven years, you know and without any kind of Support or backing or national recognition or anything like that This is this is our way of inching inching our way out of the trenches and becoming a little more prominent You know, we've never done this for any kind of notoriety or anything like that But it is kind of cool when you get stuff like this, you know, whether it be movie premieres whether it be, you know Very humbly being asked to review somebody's personal work. Yeah, you know, that's that's a huge thing for people to do and I Can't wait.

I can't wait to bring you the info on that. Yeah, as we get closer on that But you know pop it up and the fact that you're in a movie trailer, you know Yeah, then on some DVD somewhere your quote is gonna be posted possibly. Yeah, you know, that's a great quote Yeah, but it's good movie. It's awesome.

Yeah, it feels it feels kind of cool. Yeah, it feels kind of cool, you know, but Anyway, it's been a fun six years. I agree. I agree So we got more money fast forwarded through all of that sappy shit now.

We're gonna get to what kept you around for six years for some Random pass reason. Oh meet tater with every anniversary episode We tried to figure out some kind of cool topic or something like we did the movie death match with me and Phil with Rise on the scenes and Terminator Salvation where nobody won Nobody wants to fight like that. I still say salvation Because I can't say that because we're like So would be blood. Oh, yeah, I'd be having back issues because he'd be punching me in my kidneys That's sure here So as we were getting close to this episode and kind of getting the ball back and rolling with our recordings and everything I was trying to figure out the best kind of figure out the best way we can get the anniversary properly and then The idea came randomly in my head at work knowing it's kind of weird.

I'm not working on thinking of something about death You have basically the topic for this episode is yeah, 24 hours left to live what movies do you watch? So it's basically kind of like the ultimate 24 hour movie marathon, right? No, you just kind of threw it out to everybody and first of all let me let me say thank you to to our more Contributors that you're gonna be oh, yeah, well that we cast a wide net and came back with just about everybody Yeah, we at first we were gonna do like throw this out to listeners like we did in the past Right, we're gonna be getting back to those topics soon too, but for the anniversary of no work, California I really thought like you know what let's see hit some key people from nowhere's past Yeah, absolutely No, it was a smart idea and you know we dipped into pool of support that we've had and I was really really surprised and pleasantly surprised With some of these answers. Oh, there's some awesome answers like some of them I've had to add to my Netflix list Yeah, well, there's a few that I forgot about how good they were and I was like, oh, that's right Yeah, I still stand my mind.

I wasn't mind's a little weird. We'll get to it. Oh, yeah ours is our lists are gonna be the big competition Yeah, so now the the in-house competition between Josh and myself since old diskeeping slipper tennis here We could have pointed out some bad traits for mr. Going to Boston mr.

Cool job. I get to go everywhere So Can we go Delaware the in-house competition was to see how many films we could come up with it would get us as close to the 24-hour mark as possible right down to minutes. Yeah, I can in some forces. Yeah, if it came down to it We you know if we tied up we're gonna go to second.

Yeah, but we'll get more to our competition here in a second We got a lot of ground cover before we get ours. Yes, we are going to kick off with a classic segment of our Not that freaking music Since we haven't heard from the man in a while this is going to be our moment of Doug our mom You know what this is it's Doug for your moment of Doug otherwise affectionately known as mod So Josh gave me the topic of you have 24 hours to live and you can watch any movie or TV show during that time But it has to add up to 24 hours. It's a bit morbid, you know But I was up for the task and I think I compiled a really good list here So starting off obviously, you know being the star where standing I am I have to watch the Star Wars But more specifically episode four episode four is my favorite of the Star Wars movies. It's the first one to come out It's it is my opinion the best one out there I had a lot of people say Empire and empires on my list, but not on this list, but it's you know It's not my list of top 10 movies.

It's just not my favorite I just there's something about episode four, you know that I love My next one is Scott Pilgrim versus the world for those of you who know me Scott Pilgrim has a very big part of my heart There's a lot of stories behind that movie with me I won't get into too much access to take up a whole mod if I did but Scott Pilgrim versus the world is is my list Donnie Darko a huge movie that affected me in so many ways. I can't not watch it if I'm gonna die You know I have to the crow is also on there another one That's again has had a huge effect on me and one that just can't be left off any list like this Next we have hatchet. I wanted to get a good horror movie in there and hatch it by Adam Green is my favorite horror movie of all time I will watch anything Adam Green and hatchet is his first one So you know it's my opinion the best one so I just I had that on there now a little funny one That's on there for you guys is plan nine from outer space now I know this movie is cheesy and bad and stuff, but it's Edward Edward is super important to me. I love his work I know it's been you know hailed as one of the worst movies of all time But it's it's really not he just he wanted to tell a story and he told it You know you didn't have the money to have the special effects of the time so he did the best he could Now being a huge Tim Burton fan.

I don't include Tim Burton movie and I decided to go back to all the way back to Beale Juice It's one of my favorite Tim Burton movies. It's also got a really really really beautiful white owner writer in it I love her as goth Lydia She's one of my goth crushes so you know going out with that now for the big action kind of movie I was cloverfield cuz how can you go wrong with a monster destroying New York and I know a lot of people like that movie But I certainly loved it. I was totally involved in all of the pre-release You know games online and all of that stuff so cloverfield is definitely up there for me The original Donna the Dead the George A. Romero classic now having him just passed you know it's good that's on this list And now another horror movie besides on the dead and hatchet saw the original saw movie good psychological thriller You know nice throwback something I can always put on your team I wonder watch an episode of my favorite TV show Firefly so I put that on the list as well I don't have a particular one.

I want to watch So I think I would just randomly choose one you know for that one Next up is one of my favorite favorite movies the artist came out a couple years ago silent movie one Oscar It's it's that movie can always put me in a good mood going way way back another silent movie the cabin of dr. Calligari German expressionist film if you guys haven't seen it. I highly recommend it. It's it's great for what this movie has done for cinema the original Superman you know is definitely up there on my list and The last hour in three minutes being the family man that I am I would have to watch home movies of my family I if I knew I was going out the next day I I could not not watch movies of my wife and kid so a little sentimentality there So that's my list guys, you know just run it back down again It's Star Wars a new hope Scott Pilgrim Johnny Darko the crow hatchet plant nine beetle juice cloverfield Don of the Dead saw Firefly the artist the cabin dark dog already Superman and home movies So all right well until next mod by guys Underrated I want to say classic.

It's an underrated gem. It's one of those it's a needle in a haystack Well Scott Pilgrim was classically It's the first film that was under the curse of hall H from oh yeah From Comic Con and for some reason it just didn't do as well as I would I love that. Oh, yeah A lot of people knew about Scott Pilgrim before the movie came out right but I mean like the cast that you have Yeah, I'll be plow was fantastic to film. She's so I think she was one of our underrated characters.

Yeah, I felt you know Nice Joe everybody was fantastic brand and Roth right right everybody from the evil ex-boyfriend group. Yes fine. Yes, everybody Chris Chris's Skateboarding a bitch can't grand that real You're right. You're showing like yeah, just like boom I can do this crap right so you know making this thing like Marvel You may have dropped up all with that man, but it was awesome and by you know I was fantastic.

The only thing it made me do is go how much cooler would it exactly? You know I honestly think after baby driver Oh The fact that he had everybody learn the driving techniques in the scene Anyway, yeah great is amazing. Well, Doug. Thank you for uh, we're in there.

No chocolate star or ooh So worse, you shut your whore mouth. It is an institution. It is a cornerstone of America It is where I will plant my flag and salute my if you haven't realized in six years. Mm-hmm is positive for me I have issues that what is yeah, dude.

I have problems. God damn. I I just thought you had some sort of my syndrome going on there Maybe okay, that's fair. Yeah, no judge.

Yeah, I'm sorry Yeah, but don't thank you very much. Yeah, we always lost and also to every year no matter what he thinks here Or not here he has to be part of the anniversary well, you know part of the reason that we told him he had to move away Which is the truth behind it. We told me how to get a leaf. Uh, Doug is incredibly smart and it makes us all look a little dumb so You know, I'm glad he pops in once in a while first mods Yeah, even those you know It makes me kind of want to bring the games back for that agitav game just to have him talk sexy You know, that's a great point.

Yeah I like that sexy dog. Oh, yeah, anyhow, it's big enough sexy. Uh, we're gonna kind of bring in a An event mini series until he's well enough to jump back in the mix Yes, we're going to introduce our moment of fill aka our mop And I just realized something um, I'm never gonna be able to leave why mine is gonna sound stupid You got mod and what do you know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna fill mop.

I'm gonna Nick. I'm on what the hell's mine Mosh sounds weird. Oh, you sound like a Like a arrow like it now you sound like an eccentric This is my That mean trouble like or hate me depends how much does you have invested in your company? Yeah This is Phil here with a well, I guess Doug Doug is a mod so I guess this would be mop moment of fill Well, okay, so Josh asked me if I think the term he used was if I had 24 hours to live What you know what movie would I watch?

Well now? This is assuming of course that this isn't I don't have 24 hours to live because you know I've got some kind of disease in my you know stomach is turning into liquid shit in those cases I probably wouldn't feel like watching a movie. I probably don't kill me kill me now, but okay I figured maybe what he meant was if we had 24 hours to live because I don't know a Asteroid or something like that was gonna blow up the earth Let's see, okay given those circumstances. I have an answer.

I would just basically be Ghostbusters on infillent loop What I know I usually don't interrupt these what the fuck yeah, seriously what the fuck this is this is the anniversary episode It's our sixth anniversary. You have nothing more than just go busters. I know if you all right I'm shocked. No, you really should know that's why I was wondering why the hell did you drive all the way up here to get my answer?

It's like dude. I bet you it's Ghostbusters, but that's okay, you know the introduction value You know, I'm okay. No, if you want production value, I'll defend my reasoning behind it, okay, all right, okay Yes, could I watch hook absolutely could I watch you know goonies grandlands probably a couple thousand other one of my favorites Well, I'm in back door sleds 9 well, I was gonna say back to the future never seem back to the back door sluts 9 Cool cool midgets got a lot of it so Annie who now look there's you know, it's 24 hours 24 hours I figured okay, do I spend it watching the movies? It's like I love a lot of movies But that's the time to spend with I guess you would call it your cinematic soulmate and for me that would be Ghostbusters Okay, if we're if we're if we're talking deep there It's just because it's my favorite movie was the first movie I ever saw in theaters when I was a kid I hold I hold it very high so high in fact is why it's a shame Yeah, you know, it's like I I love the movie the original movie so much that I can't stop giving the remake or reboot or whatever It is so much shit just for being mediocre.

I'm like no no I can't even forgive it I mean I could forgive any movie for being mediocre, but it goes busters reboot or remake. Oh, no no no no I can't do that because I'm like no As fans we did we deserve more than just no no and there's there's there's highlights there and for me I got the thinking if I went to hell if If it wasn't subjecting me I figured my hell would be something along the lines of watching either What is it the twilight saga on infinite loop or 50 shades of gray on infinite loop both of which are not only? Not only cinematic massacres, but they're also literary massacres So, you know if it's not that I figured my hell would be watching Ghostbusters 2016 an infinite loop And if that was gonna be my hell, I'm gonna go I'm going to die in the 24 hours watching the good one Good way to go and honestly even when I even thought of this idea for our anniversary up So I knew I could have wrote it down in an envelope. Oh, yeah, sealed it as you do your bit Yeah, and then open up the envelope and go build will choose Ghostbusters one and two Yeah, yeah, exactly so since I do have you on my right now, right?

Since you are a little bit out of commission. You won't be live with us. No, no, no You want to give everybody a little bit of an update on how you are doing? Oh, I'm doing fine.

I'm doing fine I'm gonna be seeing I don't know when this will air but as of August 2nd or anniversary Okay, okay, all right. Well before that I'll be seeing the I'll be seeing the doctor and hopefully they'll be giving me some more answers You know like I said I got degenerative disc disease. I'm walking around a lot better It's just for lack of a better word plumbing issues. It's just it's just a nightmare You know you take you take little things for granted and you know, it's like I'm glad that I'm I'm what is it?

Gimping along. Yeah, I'm giving along just fine. I could get out there and I could actually drive the car a little bit But I don't want to go long distances. Yeah, exactly.

Well, you're gonna take it to the choir here on I'm gonna choose after my fun. Oh my god. When did we get so damn old? Two of them getting old in I can tell you nightmare.

Uh-huh. How does it feel that we've been doing this for six years? Oh my god? Wow, yeah, six.

Well, it's not six six six right? Hell, okay, but um to wrap it up and everything I do want to say this to you on like sure and I've said you this every year About this time and I crap I owe you so much because of you just going like and you going hey you want to do a podcast? You know sure Six years later. We're doing this bullshit still.

Well, I gotta tell you I'm thrilled to have been apart It's like I I've joined you in over a hundred some episodes. I mean if you if you count the If you count everything that we've done together But I love where it's at right now is because you know if I'm not around we have Nick Nicholas I who's always gracious enough to just kind of you know kick in and pick up my slack and it's grown into something Oh even better than what I thought it was so it's kind of like I'm I'm glad you know that I was like one of the founders of it But I'm glad it's as big as it is. Yes, so it's like so when stuff like this happens the show can so go on So I'm I couldn't be more thrilled and that's about it. Yeah.

Well, thank you very much. This was your moment of my You know, it just dawned on me and first of all, thank you Phil those are amazing pics. Well, no, it was just two Like I said, we mean a little bit of a cluster It means I had a conversation with them a little bit in that but I'll reiterate it's like as soon as I realized the topic of this episode I could have seriously wrote down on a piece of paper They'll only choose Ghostbusters one and two okay put it in an envelope took it with me to go record with Phil as soon as he's finished I could have ripped it open and put it in his face You could have won your Terminator already know what that oh see I came from the past. Yeah I came from the future to change it just on to me though.

Okay, so our moment of Doug our mod Yeah, it's like the turtles in time yeah If you did a theme song from mom, we could just take Adam Sandler's mop mop mop all day long Five steps ahead. You already have a download of my computer mine. I'm on we just place them to make it You know, right in there. Oh, yeah for yours What are we see?

I can't leave Like I this is gonna be terribly insensitive. I'm sure I'm already kind of hitting myself for saying it but we just gonna have You should be ashamed yourself. I'm feel terrible. I'm sorry.

I apologize Yeah, actually I'm not I'm gonna jump into our first celebrity one because like we said we kind of threw the net out there to people of no Where's pass and we got some good stuff. We did get some really good stuff. I personally You know reach out to Robin Shelby if you are not aware of who Robin Shelby is check your pulse. Yes, first of all She's an incredibly talented actress working actress Hollywood, but she earned her notoriety from being sliver in Ghostbusters 2 as well as the bridge troll Willow and Willow and we had an amazing interview with her like three years ago.

Yeah, she's been absolutely wonderful to us And she's done great for our sister podcast I'm not and she's one of these people that truly embraces Ghostbusters not for the I'm trying to cling to whatever fame I can just but because the fans genuinely love her for who she is and she's a fan too Yes, and she's a huge fan of Ghostbusters and the reason I say she's a huge fan of Ghostbusters is because she has one up to our fill Yes, I will give you her list right here. She starts out with back to the future Now she put it just back to the one I'm going to assume and I'm going to just make the choice that it's it's the trilogy Because you can't say back to the future without encompassing all because you're only watching I think we have a future episode because when you see some more of these lists back to the future is something to be discussed Yeah, it pops up a few times So her she jumped right into the ring was back to the future and then she made the very clear distinction of all three Ghostbusters yes, by the way I failed to mention that if you weren't aware she was our lady slimmer in the most recent incarnation of Ghostbusters and Here's hoping that with the new stuff moving forward go score and I've been right man and everything else that we may see Lady Slimer grace the screen of your well We just finished up a comic on a few weeks ago, and we're still recovering from that hangover. That's right Actually going Okay, so here's her fix back to the future all three Ghostbusters film. I love this one here heart and souls It was one of those ones I always loved when it was like just randomly on and I really kind of dove deep into eBay and Amazon purchases Yeah, and I came across it in like a value section on Amazon's like done I know Christine about it airplane Anybody here speak job now she put primal fear that's a good one to do that was one of those and I hadn't read the book yet I did after the film, but I watched the movie and I went oh my god unreal very very good She went with a classic Christmas story another you really look there's a reason it plays on a 24-hour loop on Christmas the right It's that Really that good it takes you back to an assault yeah, you know our childhood and stuff like that Well you look at the the sequel they made a couple years ago and everything like that and how horrible it was and it shows that that original It's time I know there's a cool thing for pointing my brain.

Yeah, it's well if I had to see that work you I don't want anything back so she has a Christmas story then she went with the Sean Penn and Susan Sarandon Academy award-winning dead man walking another beautiful movie But her finale was with the one that I stood up in the finale That's one thing I'll kind of hint you with all of these lists like the finale search list really particular each one Yeah, mine's very very specific I don't know if she intended this one But I had to stand up and just kind of applaud it because it's it is one of the greatest science fiction and one of the greatest Comedy's ever I'm not talking about space balls. I'm talking about galaxy quest. Oh, yeah God what a great film man in another great under the radar. Yeah, well, you know and there's there's a movie You know if you if the world is coming to an end there it is.

Oh, yeah, you know, you just you just just do it You know, I was actually kind of surprised somebody didn't choose that, you know, seeking a friend for the end of the world, you know That's a very very interesting like or knowing very meta. Yeah, a very meta kind of I didn't watch knowing like I caught the ending Because my brother and my mom were watching it and I kind of like oh, this is the end and then they haven't spoiler the end of the world And I'm watching on holy shit Yeah, but galaxy quest is a great way to finish that off It's you know, it's just so much hope and laughter and it's you know like grab the hard hammer So yeah, so there's there's Robins pics back future all three goes most of them heart and souls airplane Pranel fear Christmas Oh, yeah, thanks Robin. I appreciate it. I will definitely echo those sentiments.

Thank you Robin for that lesson the next person You know what he is a celebrity because he has he's in a horror metal band. Basically its music that is based on horror movies and everything in its metal I thought there's all metal. Yeah. Well, these are Towards that too.

Yeah, good friend of Nori, California Taz if you remember we met him at the first days of the dead on the west coast we did our Yes, and we did our cartoon commentary to don't do dragons with him. Yes Yeah, and then I think was last year's loss and comic-con he made his return to the States and we come out and I'm really hoping he comes back. I don't know if you will I'm really hoping I was back. I have yet to meet as in most cases.

I get to meet a lot of our well There's a couple of other people on my list you haven't met well, there's one I haven't met anybody but he wasn't blended Hopefully yes, well I'll drop them a line to my buddy's comment. So hey, but here is Taz's list. Okay, so I'll just read it for a bit for him first up is Joss The thing John Carpenters the thing I love taz demons one and two Money Python and Holy Grail And basically highly real of all his favorite money Python lips because that's one of the things I did throw out to my side of the The I didn't I said if you have to throw in and kind of TV shows or anything to put a buffer do it And then after the money Python closely went with clerks and mall rats and spider-man homecoming Really did well, I think he was even got it quicker than us. I don't know if they get it or not, but he's not pretty fast But good for him.

Yeah, of course Yeah, you know of course better royale all right the ray to Teen Wolf predator and die hard and he said if I can fit it all of them in 24 hours But then he threw in a kind of a ps he was like maybe swap the ray to for 13 assassins It'd be shame not to have some tashimi k film in there Great movie. Oh, yeah, so some good stuff some good stuff in there. So wait go Taz has a great stuff in there So let's go next To the person we're talking about that comes from the Great Britain London area Jeremy dries out the writer of Grand Theft Parsons and the co-writer of clown wars blood in arsenic Yes, and I've been reading that but lately holy crap Cool because it's it's honestly it's a world where there's humans and there's plants playing in simple There's the by the line and like there's a chunk of the book like I was written on the plane back Her my and there's a couple pages where they talk about clown bloodlines Whoa, yeah, like one of them the bloodline is called whiteface. It's the oldest version of clowns Okay, because it's just yeah, what straight whiteface.

It's an amazing book Check it out. I believe it's available on Amazon or just hit Jeremy dries down on Facebook You'll put in the right direction or drop his line will do the same So here is his list and I'll just go ahead and throw it right out from exactly what he said says I just what happy anniversary because I kind of threw out the fact that it's gonna be our anniversary episode But would be happy to help from his list he goes seven damn venture classic The godfather trilogy yes all of them Yeah Well I'm down all right One that's partial Tim and honestly partial to me it was very close to being on my list, but it made his list grandpa Parsons Got enjoy your work of course. Yes. Yeah, man Max Vere road Charlie varkic bar bar rich, okay, you know which that one is no stars Walter Matthew out It's him his wife and I guess it's friend.

They decide to rob a bank without realizing the bank is owned by the Yeah, I as soon as he sent me to the list. I was like Charlie bar Rick What is that? I checked it out. I looked on it on my own TV I was like oh adding it to Netflix.

I gotta watch this I'm lock up a guy. Oh, that's especially with a being Walter Matthew. Yeah, you gotta love that and then he ends it with the apartment Nice. Yeah, that's good stuff, man.

Yeah. Well, don't make your film writer and everything's right. Yeah I feel good because one of these paces on my list. Yeah, I'll get to that.

Yeah, yeah, I'll rub that one Yeah, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay continue So next up is another good friend of the show one that you haven't met and we've interviewed several times George Wessel The creator of oh hell yes He's been great. Oh, he's been awesome And I'll just throw this out really quickly He was at the enemy Expo that recently happened in California Yes And the morning that the Expo started I wake up and I have a ping on my phone of like oh yeah George wasl mentioned you on Instagram and Facebook and all stuff like that's cool. What's he up to you? Like I he's wearing our shirt at the convention.

Yeah, yeah He he's a big sport of the podcast great big sport podcast. I look forward to meeting him very soon and Yeah, he was one of the recipients of our teacher. Yes, I was wearing it loud and proud at the enemy expo Yeah, I was like oh, it's super rad That's like it was I get all silly and giddy because like I said we're fledgling we're still like it We're moving on up. Yeah, and that's just and get nods from people that we respect it enjoy their work personally It's kind of a mutual artistic sort of thing and George.

Thank you very much for that so as before I'm just gonna go ahead and just read the Messages verbatim all I got was 23 hours in two minutes. So he did pretty well for himself. Yes Since it's the last 24 hours of my life I have to allow 15 minutes for trips to the refrigerator for liquid refreshments and ice cream lots of ice cream And because I don't have a extreme TV in the bathroom Ringo Tread Great To keep me from staring at the clock and whining about all the things I did and didn't do I choose movies that kept me and grossing me or made You laugh good. So he has a really good list going here like right off the bat.

He goes with once upon a time in the West Godfather the godfather to Oh Well, it's pretty black is a blacksmith's right well, it's about a guy who is the other guy on the cross Yeah, I know bits and pieces Brian is He was born on the same time that Jesus was and so he looks Looks like Jesus and stuff so it's the pursuit of him as they're trying to kill him and You know it's different things you're gonna encounter aliens and all kinds of stuff. Oh, it was just this There's no fucking way we're gonna do this so sir and by the way my favorite Beetle sir George Harrison funded the entire film shut up. He loved it so much I've always been amazing. I'm not the biggest Python fan.

I guess right but I do respect what they've done with comedy There's you know, there's too long you can draw with Python It's either you're either on the side it's kind of the Beatles and the snow you're either on the side of Python or the side of Benny Hill. No, I'm definitely on the Python side I like both but for entirely yeah Python is a much deeper intellectual. Oh hell yeah It's there's so much so much more involved in there. Where's you know, he'll just slapstick and Yeah, it's fantastic if you ever get a chance looking to Okay, hang over Shawn of the dead a return visit from airplane.

Okay, all right See another return visit from money Python and holligrail There you go. I think this is probably the order of watching for him, okay, and then he wraps it up with Lord of the Rings Fellowship The ring Yeah, very good one. Yeah, so very good one. I like this picture.

Yeah, some really good pics there Yeah, I really like the life of Brian. Yeah, that's a good one. That's a really good one Okay, and to wrap up our trip down the past we got one from Chuck Norfolk the writer director of getting swirled really great horror comedy if you haven't checked it out It's basically brought this club with a lot of blood. Yeah, see and yeah, it's a lot of fun Yeah, it's a hell of a lot of fun and it was interesting when I threw this out so he quickly said Can I bring my brother involved in this because he writes with his brother?

Oh, awesome Yeah, and he wrote to join the weird conjoined twin movie I watched which I described as a episode of three's company mixed with Twilight Zone with some low doses of acid That's fair. Yeah, because it was that Everything's seasoned a little bit better with some hell of a yeah And I think we added this up yesterday when we were attempting to record this And I think we've got like 23 hours or was it 22 hours? Yes, it was a 23-inch change. Yeah, it was a very solid attempt and he he utilized the TD role in this one too This is the first one to really throw into that right see now again the competition is really just kind of between Josh and I because I Just love hearing the pics of what people would I know I love this very off the cuff, you know Because you could always go through your DVD collection.

Oh wait, wait, wait, wait, wait That was a hard part to go like why don't watch that one exactly don't want to forsake this one. Yeah, so it's interesting to see these picks so just go I know And honestly and that's kind of the reason I kind of moved the idea from getting listeners I mentioned see these guys because also too this kind of intensifies the main reason of doing one of the main reasons of doing nowhere Is to be able to pick the minds of these creative of people. Yeah, like you were obviously saying yeah, yeah So here we go just like it have done before directly from their messages and hopefully it'll stutter again This one comes to you from writer directors Chuck and Tam Norfolk from getting school Conjoined and haunted trailer this weird ghost story inside of a freakin trailer like redneck trailer where at one point There's a floating disembowd head of Ron Jeremy Well, you know Ron Jeremy is an avid collaborator with these guys See that's awesome. There's look people you can you can judge the quote-unquote hedgehog You know for which you will but I've seen Ron Jeremy several times at the the comic conventions and things like that Doing a lot of the independent things and stuff like that.

He's a very diversified man And before mr. You know 10 and some inches got into the adult film industry. He was also a school teacher He you know well vert. He's a very well educated person.

Okay, and he a very creative guy that so this that doesn't surprise me one day Yeah, so this is kind of from writer directors Chuck and Tamara folk who have been sentenced to death in 24 hours I love that they put that sentence to death that's cool They're walking down the water Instead of last meal your last move Yes, but you know 1997. Oh great fucking movie dude. I I cannot tell you how much I love that movie and how many times I Started off with a mother of a movie are who family could be diagnosed with cancer and this would still be put us in agreement Yeah, basically things can go to shit. They're still in a watch with you nice 70s Warren Bert Reynolds and prosthetic takes what's not to love seriously it was Don't you don't know every well you make me see a freakin put upon husband Yeah, dude, and yeah, cuz he Jesus that's a Caught yeah, okay.

Yes, blues brothers 1980 fuck. Yes. I'm gonna put this on my list to 133 minutes Yeah, yeah, it was a little over two hours. Yeah, little over two hours for their comments It's we're on a mission for God.

Blue she and I create our the best. Yes. I agree now This kind of diverts from the movies to TV. Okay from SNL the little chocolate donuts sketch one minute where it's basically the Kind of the spoof of the we need commercial to athlete.

Oh, yeah, it's job. Let's go on like I start every morning with a little chocolate Yes, and their words blue sheeting donuts and smoking cigarette in classic Commercial spoof I'm seeing a pattern here. I like where their heads are at. Oh, yeah, you're gonna love this Full metal jacket 1987 116 minutes 116 War film Matthew Levine Arlie Remini Vincent de Noffrey on the best And a lot of people forget about Vincent Well people only think of him like now as like a lot of order in all that crap, right?

But then also to he's been doing like a lot of great stuff like one of my favorite movies of the past I'd say if the time frames were a decade the salt and sea where he plays a freaking meth dealer with no nose Yeah, amazing. Amazing actor next up young Frankenstein 1974. Goddamn it favorite comedy ever ever ever ever period ever Young Frankenstein is the epitome of all fucking exactly. I Now that's another one not to really reveal my list too much When I got to my Mel Brooks portion of my list it was a fight it was an internal struggle You know to me it was I would have spent too much time going well No, I like this because it's more beat no like this because it's this and I just when we get to my choice for my Mel Brooks portion I will explain what yeah, but yeah young Frankenstein freaking amazing Star 80 from 1983 103 minutes, okay Eric Roberts is next level ass gunbag boyfriend that gets his girl in a smud industry killing So now you got it I seriously need to have fucking beer and just yeah, yeah, I'm hoping Chuck can get back out here very quickly He lives in Texas.

Yeah, next up is another off the movie path, but still amazing the three stuages the ghost talks Yes, it's weather shorts, okay 1947 16 minutes the stuages in our favorite horror comedy short of all time. Okay. Yeah next up the shiny 1980 146 minutes Jack Nicholson at his most crazed will keep anyone awake during a 24-hour film Now this one is a little bit of a partial for me. Okay, my breakfast with Lassie.

Oh my god Yeah, 1983 16 minutes madman any Kaufman has breath is with wash up her wrestler and fuck with his head. Yeah, yeah Amazing moment in the end coffin history. Yeah, just sitting there watching classy pretty pretty classy. Just looking at what the fuck yeah You know coffee is such a fucking genius.

Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, this is unreal. Okay, okay The King of comedy 1982 109 minutes Robert De Niro as a delusional wannabe community kidnaps talk show host played by Jerry Lewis and a great comedy directed by Swersese.

Yep next up plan of the game 1968 112 minutes the original and the original with the greatest what the fuck any never yeah throw that in for nowhere Yeah, because you know how much we love her what the fuck movie moments Next up up in smoke 86 minutes the Laurel and Hardy of we kick ass in this class comedy. Yes This is not what I think you're gonna have a good reaction to wild at heart God damn it 1990 125 minutes David Lynch takes on the Wizard of Oz and so freaking crazy This one is something I never knew anything about it when I told you it was on Terry Tate office 151 one minute 51 second time around it look first of all it's a very brilliant campaign Oh, yeah, very brilliant. Hey, what does he do to do that takes a lot of the coffee? Basically what it is they hired the CEO's like so, you know We were trying different things to get people to kind of straighten up in the office You know not waste nobody time not do these you know just minor company violations that seem to drive everybody else not so kind of bring them Or out so they are Terry Tate this linebacker so every time you have a violation he comes in and just bucks you Yes, and it's so the one dude's like he pours himself a cup of coffee And there's a sign on that says you know like if you finish the pot make another he's like Pours it out looks around over there and he takes nothing ha ha ha And I don't know where comes this massive fucking black man giant beast of a linebacker Terry Tate just drills this dude And he's like to do flamethrower coffee I'm like cowering on the floor and he jumps up me whoo it's got the black fucking pain under his eyes and all that shit He's like if you kill the Joe you make some out You know that the ringtone in the making I'm trying to try to take a piece of cake out of the fridge and it's not his there's a note in every thing he's like You know that you're okay.

You know that he's okay. Oh here comes a pain train. Whoa Oh Years where they hired another person who was like the anti another linebacker who was supposed to do the job better than him And it was this big showdown. Oh, it's I'm gonna.

It's my new YouTube edition compilation of the whole thing it's unreal funny Yeah, and this is this finale and I if I remember the end he must car face correctly It's kind of an interesting way to close out this kind of American because a star face Nineteen hundred seventy minutes man 83 was a great year say hello to the most awesome drug dealer of all time. Yeah The fucking world is yours and it ends with him being took it down in the hell of bullets, isn't it? You pretty much yeah, that's where you get the sound off the mic. They'll fry yeah He's standing on the balcony of his Miami mansion right after he buries his face in the way pile of Coke and just Go and starts it up and goes out there with a it's an M16 with a grenade launcher on it He just starts fog out these cartels and it's basically because he had heart he wouldn't he was supposed to take out this I think it was a politician.

I'm not for sure. I don't remember exactly But he's supposed to take out this car, but the kid the dude's kids in there was white and he refused to blow the car up You're gonna kill the kid as well And so it just kind of created this downfall for a tournament But it's you know it's respected as the rise to power and the live by the gun died by the gun sort of thing in the air of Cribs it was everybody's fucking favorite movie dude. I'm telling you it's a good movie. It's a fucking really good The time has come yes, sir.

This is what I've been waiting for because this is this is the showdown I'm talking to you. There's no one else over there I am Yeah, okay, well We've been discussing the best way to roll with this and I guess we're gonna do it with whoever got the least amount of movies and whoever got closest to 24 All right, who that's nor to little Excuse me there was it was kind of the I don't see was an embarrassing snor but it was more of like the In order of a velocity back to right before he tears your damn throat out. Oh god. Oh god.

Well, okay, so how many movies did you get? Okay, I had one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve I got thirteen. Oh, okay, so I guess this is where it's gonna matter the most all right my time Because all you won the first round the time I got is 23 hours and 20 minutes That is impressive. I don't think it's very very impressive enough to win from the look on your face It's not man.

This is kind of this is my doc holiday and tombstone moment. I'm not gonna be your uncle there cover your heels darling Read them and we yeah, how close you are not close yes, how many minutes are in 24 hours? I'll give it to you four hundred and forty minutes in a 24 hours man and how many minutes do you get one thousand Four hundred and forty minutes. God and I did it accidentally.

I applaud you on that though I was I was floored well, you know when people say maybe force be with you this one goddamn it was but Let's run down our list here. You want me to go first? You want to go? No, you you got the 24 So you'll be the one closing this thing out all right, so we'll go through mine and this is in order I will be watching as mine yes first up one floor with goodness Great film love that classic movie and it's not in like we had with some other people's list do it's not the most upbeat movie No, but see the for me it's a different perspective because you know I was it is a triumph of a movie though, too Right, but I was in the stage production of one of the good business I was also in the stage production of Spam a lot which is my bottom polygrate So as we've rattled certain things off I go oh And so it takes on a different meaning of perspective for me, so I want to see you in something to level of one floor The cook is this again, yeah, well, it's like we said when we're talking about your guys at the time of spam a lot like I've seen feeling a lot of stuff right.

I haven't had a chance to see you in a lot of stuff I'm hoping to do more with the the local theater and we'll get back on the track here But I need to I really got to tip my half to three people in the end that's well It's hard to single people up and I will say this Marcus or my dear friends who played our P. Murphy Was outstanding Brian Raymond who played Billy He's heartbreaking and it was his first role. Oh that's cool He stole the show with it with the scene where he just breaks down But I'll tell you right now what really took the talent in that was my was my dear dear friend Gia Volonado who played chief Nice to sit on stage the whole time and not say anything and act the shit out of the scene The littlest of emotion. Oh fuck it was it was put on a clinic.

He put on a clinic man It was unreal before even about who did you play? I please get Up next the crow it's one of our favorites Up next is kind of a it'll start like a double feature for me It's a rather low-end level feature because it starts out with one our photo which honestly yeah It's a dark movie, but honestly I can put it on wax off it on whatever digital access is my favorite role of Robin Williams's career Okay, playing some because it's such a departure, but also to you. He acts the shit out of that movie Bison's like that was one of the real big fights to do with my list was getting by it was either gonna be bison Tell me on our What if you start focusing on the nuances that's where it really becomes it can become a sticky lab Or you know, I think you go to whoever's give me the 24 hours go Can I have another like three hours? But then with the darkness of one our photo it'll go in see twice One of my all-time favorites of Robin Williams abstract very abstract very ugly with such a beautifully made film and of course My stuff is being crushed.

Yeah, Jimmy Fox Yeah, yeah, no John John she's actually love her and that's where I fell That one and also she girls my body Her just screaming on the phone tears She goes right into you can't put more into the soup Yeah, she can't do it because it's just a base oh good up next is the full back to the future trilogy Absolutely because you can't do one without the others right? That's why I think when you say back to future It's all it's just generally like I said we got it It's like Lord of the Rings they're definitely chapters within the you know the overall book, but back of future You can't watch one without watching the rest exactly and I like we talked about a little bit earlier You posted this on Facebook you ask people what their favorite trilogy were and it led to me go We got a discuss we On episode the one that top the list was back to the future because it's a perfect really yeah up next is my Mel Brooks pick And the main reason for that one it was the first Mel Brooks movie for me because I remember watching it on cinication I got jol 5 watching his weird space booth of Star Wars Old man grape cubes Yeah, but it's baseballs like it was my time and that was the one like we recently did the movie quotes for the month of July with Mel Brooks and everything and Depending on how it went everything I was going to do this But I'm not sure if I'm going to or not but I think I'm gonna post at the end of coming up soon an open letter to him on Instagram since we told it's him Not really like an in-depth open letter, but just basically saying like Mel dude Honestly to me even if you're not a fan of Mel Brooks your sense of humor DNA has lines of Mel Brooks in this What the biggest bit that I know of Mel Brooks as a person I know that one he makes the greatest commies ever Yeah, I know two that there is no span of time in which he will take There's no span of time that they can stretch out that he will not completely bash Hitler And there's also I think there's something behind him at least this is what I gather He loves his movies. He loves making movies. He loves his own movies and it's not an arrogant thing It's a pride.

Yeah, and it should be it absolutely should be and for me It's it's the nuances in the film, you know as much as you know I said fire across and I was not up it. You know things like that my favorite line My absolute favorite line from space ball is literally when he says search her ship and the one Soldierships origin goes yo, don't helmet and there's no dialogue except Rick Moranis's giant fucking helmet turns and just stares at the guy And I Recently I listened to the nurse episode with Max Brooks He was talking about how active his dad still is yeah And one of the key things that he does like he'll finish up his day and everything and then he'll head over to Carl Reiner's house like after midnight and him and Carl Reiner will just be yelling at each other the entire night That's that listen people if you need if you want to know the key not to fucking longevity It'll come with this I promise you don't come with this part of the reason that I look around and people go You're 41 and I'm gonna fucking feel it It's because I still have this wide-eyed wonder and I laugh and I laugh and I fucking laugh And I take so much pride in laughing and that's that's you know the basis of life and love and everything else if you can laugh You're gonna love and it's you know It's just the truth and that's cool, you know to like one friends Yes, and then the next one on the list it was another hard battle because it's my Kevin Smith thick Oh boy, this was a hard one. Did you read say no? I did not okay?

I went dogma good for you dude because it's Because it falls in the line with space balls to you because dogma was kind of my first exposure to Kevin Smith right my first my first exposure to Kevin Smith as a realization like Silent bomb made this yeah and realizing I didn't know until I got the mall rats Well I've seen clerks and I've seen mall rats and everything it was it was kind of a passing by film But then dogma came around and was like right and that was about the time to my brain was starting to go like Oh, I can think outside the box didn't you fall over the lawn is more sent Oh, yes, she was and I don't just mean the way she looked just just just an even wrap your head around the idea that not only Is God taking the form of woman or is or is a woman but the the wonder in her own creation? Yeah, and it's so beautiful such a great statement I thought Kevin Kevin just knocked at the fuck out of the hell yes, you know And everybody just acted their ass off and did fantastic and I know he caught a lot of shit from religious groups and stuff But he owned it though. Yeah, well he protested his own film look for it on YouTube There's a news reporter pimp and Brian Johnson protesting bottom with her fucking fantastic, but I'll tell you something man It's it's one of those that just it from start to finish because it was the last one that I watched For what a reason I just kept missing it or I you know I said it's my time to see it and see it and somebody gave it to me Yeah, and I finally watched dogma and I literally watched it three times back to back It's an awesome like three fucking times back to back and I just was in awe of that movie and you know anybody who says you know He's a one trick fuck you're stupid. You're stupid That's the one thing like especially when he had his issues with Bruce well So which I'm hoping the most recent Hollywood about when they do touch based on his Meeting with him.

Yeah, there's some things mentioning development there But when him and Bruce was or buddy heads and everything I was thinking about like you know What Kevin Smith has nothing to build about how many directed DVD movies did Bruce was up compared to the movies? How many movies did Kevin Smith out there? That's a thing is he's a film it diversifies himself to make sure that he can do in that project yeah, and you know And if they happen he won't do this happen so I could take care of this and I can't wait to see the finale to the Moose Josh You know the completion of the trilogy and and is it his exploding door to TV now? Oh, okay for a man Who's so well based in comic books?

Yeah to see him stepping into supergirl and to you know stepping into the flash Which I've watched the episodes and they're fantastic. Oh, you can see his little touch in it Oh, you know, he always says well I just show up and they run the show and I How fucking humble that he is. I know he really is he really he's just an amazing person So yeah after that one of my most recent all-time favorites now dead cool, you know I've lost it is set the standard now for everything the outside of the box May get slash mainstream comic book movie. Yeah, it is the greatest ex-movie we've ever seen the only one that I think is right there Apartments Logan.

Yep, and it's God damn it would have been in such a passion project. I got executed perfectly Yeah, I'm sorry I keep coming to you. Oh, no, what we don't say with your list I know it's just a great list though. The next one is a little bit of a TV thing But it was a two hour TV thing the series finale a match Such a upper and downer yeah downer being talk eyes Tripping his mind going to crap on I'm thinking I like killed a chicken when I was a kid But then just the finale everybody when they announced that the war is over and everybody's just celebrating Like I said, it's giving me goosebumps even talking about right now But the scene where they announced the war is done.

I look it's Winchester walking out of the tent I'm just realizing if I remember correctly he's trying to give past the Korean soldiers that he started doing music with dying And but then they did an announcement and he just the relief on his face and just how they just stand through the The camp and everybody is just overjoyed and it's just amazing Goosebumps talking about and now I'm getting close to the game I see some passing in for universal and Lately it's been I've been doing trips to the gamble house each time. Okay. I'll probably still do because it's big game It's encoded in me now to go to the emos, but last night I checked some apps and everything the location for mash is en route to I'll probably head there because there's probably not a lot of curbs there to destroy my tires on It'll be a safe bet I think you find how many location scenes are like you know, wait, this is the only film Yeah, yeah, and you can like holy shit Yeah, and I think I'm gonna start doing more of those trips on why I can get to in California And maybe you expand it because hell I did the movie land tour thing in Hawaii Yeah of locations and it was pretty awesome And I definitely want to take the helicopter tour to the doors address worker where they did the doors nice Yeah, anyways mash the series finale and mash would definitely be kind of the Capber the next one is the great dictator my all-time fair movie Charlie Chaplin and just Especially for the end scene where he does the speech and then looks this guy just says I think we did it. I think we I think we're gonna be okay.

Yeah, and just it's just a beautiful freaking movie Well watch I maybe watch it tonight and my grand finale a Garfield Christmas. Oh, yeah Every year no matter what like I have the DVD of all the Garfield holiday specials Sometimes I'll miss Halloween and I'll watch her I get to the things I mean Basically, it's like this for Christmas time for me. I will watch the shit out scrooge and I will watch the shit out of the Garfield Christmas special yes, see we always make sure we watch Christmas story and Garfield Christmas specials on there The peanuts of course. Yeah, you can ever run with him and yeah, you know We do that we do home alone all of the ones that dinner you know Christmas thing we you know pop this in Christmas is huge for Christina Yeah, she's a Christmas baby and so that's that's kind of our thing we do that too Yeah, and but a lot of people would be like why not great peanuts way but car fellas always hold a special spot for me Right minus those live action movies, but the Christmas special is just it just it reeks of like goodness Yeah, and depending on what's going on if like Phil says if I'm sitting there might some external do and I'm feeling like shit I'd rather have Garfield Christmas special going on or asteroid going earth or like how you?

Properly presented it as the movie theater walk in But that is that is my list yeah, I'm short my My suggestion into how people you know where to view it or how I presented it to Robin was basically you were stuck in a theater In a movie theater you couldn't leave nobody could get in you couldn't leave Very Twilight yeah in that sense 24 hours World to come to an end I like the fact I let it open and though 24 hours you have the entire gamut film television Well, I didn't say tell you but I said the entire name of film laid out before you can literally just punch in whatever And you could spend 24 hours watching it so what would be your combination of films that would get you 24 hours and these were I started off with Ghostbusters Yeah, there's not a moment in there where I won't start reciting a film portion of the film and just laugh my ass off realizing that most of the movie was And there's a huge chunks of this movie that were just ad-libbed and it was fantastic You know to me there's nothing greater than watching egon talk about this proton pack that he just you know Built and when Ray says okay, we'll switch me on which turns it turns on and then I'm gonna skip Well now I'll give you this was my deciding pick because Star Wars is such a huge thing in my life Yeah, and this is where the force came into play when I got to the end of my list I needed exactly 124 minutes and I was looking for my list going if I was going to pick any one of the Star Wars films to go off Well, but I go off now There was a part of me that was gonna go with Rogue one because I thought it was such a refreshing step out of Oh, yeah, the regular cotton you know in a minute. I just see one for the circumstance I couldn't overlook what is arguably the greatest Star Wars film of all time and that's Empire Strikes Back I thought you're gonna say that Christmas special. It was literally It was literally the movie we love you be Arthur Anyway, it was literally the movie that announced the Empire Strikes Back and they literally kicked the shit out of the Rebels the entire film Just had him on the run, you know Han Solo gets captured Luke Skywalker disappears his hand cut off revealed it You know Darth Vader's his father, you know, it is just an unreal film and it comes in at exactly The force was strong with this By complete accident that I chose that one I can't talk farther with mine, but I kind of utilize everybody's mentioning like I gotta poop That's true, but I didn't care I'll hold it for a while Also to like you're talking about your theater thing though, too You'd be like I'm just gonna be against the wall I can't so watch the movie I can go up a few rows and take a shit. What's the matter?

Yeah, it's just me in there So you're gonna power to use it. I'm going to I'm gonna tie into you here and I want the back to you trilogy as well I couldn't help it. It is just it's such a fun first of all. It's fun.

Yeah, all the way through it's fun It has wonderful click hangers and great lines and a solid story Not just a solid story possibly the most solid three film arc art ever ever ever period It's just I think it's the greatest trilogy that's ever been put on film. Yeah, and it's you know, it's it's unbelievably great Totally agree with it. Yeah, I went with Pulp Fiction. I've said time and again that was another battle I was having like to have turn T in one here Well, it's I've said this time and again Pulp Fiction is one of those movies that I don't care if I walk in on the last five minutes Or the first five minutes of the film or dead smack in the middle I will stop everything that I'm doing and watch the rest of that movie There's so many memorable scenes that are also is the greatest most tragic love love story between you know Mia Wallace and Vincent Vega He just kind of blows her kiss and she walks off of it, you know black and eyes and blood right now He just blows it because you know, it's there, you know And it's I guess the divert like we always do yeah still one of the coolest memories of nowhere is interviewing freakin the gimp Yes, yes, that's friend.

Yeah, and the taxi driver. Yeah She was an amazing talk. No, she all them were amazing to talk to you when she when she talks to Bruce Willis Which you know, he's very much about how it felt to be demanded. Yeah, you know, it's it was this weird Like erotically charged scene that never went any further.

I guess I can kind of say this without spoiling spider-man homecoming Remember those type of scenes. Yeah, when you're watching homecoming. Okay. Yeah for sure I'll definitely get so and then another one that we shared on our list of crow.

Yeah, there was no movie that hit me and my Teens harder than the crow did it was something that I absolutely loved it's one of me to who I became well It's one of my favorite love stories and you know it is such a guilt You know Gilke Lee how to phrase this it's a it's a movie that satisfies all of my revenge It was one of my first revenge movies I've ever seen and it's just beautifully done Soundtrack is perfect the you know the scene where he plays on guitar You know later when he's playing it again and he just smashes a shit out of guitar and you know That's it and I'm going to finish this and it's it's just so good I love every honey Hudson's fucking phenomenal movie, you know the line in that you know, you're gonna just grab a window I thought I used a front door. Uh just Just you know off to all brick and that is you know that whole line I just need a front door. Yeah, fuck you know just oh, it's me so hard. I love that movie.

Well that whole sequence too Yes, and it's absolutely beautiful. You know you stay with the whole time. Hey man. No, no, no I didn't like it tries to play it off like I'm just being a cop and then he checks.

Yeah, he really fucking cares beautiful Yeah, such a great music and that is perfect and it's one of the movies I still have the score and soundtrack to and I just really yeah, I mean to and I remember just that line from T bird, you know This is really real world. There's some kind of a bad man. There's no coming back and then when he's just about to take off He's like a bash the devil stood yeah and felt how awful goodness is and I was like Good, you know, you're meeting your maker right now So to jump from that kind of fat goosebumps or another From that to what's personally my favorite film of all time. I think it is the Quintessential childhood movie and just keeps that you know child like wonder to it the goonies.

No. Yeah, that's my favorite film of all time And it is there's there's nothing about this movie there From John the two sacks, you know take on sloth The only thing else Johnny does take on sloth is a little bit darker but John into sack of sloth one of the most level characters ever and you know the relationship between him and Chuck and Lawrence Lawrence, you know, it's I don't know. It's just a perfect thing It is everything that every kid wants to do is find a fucking treasure map and you know save the day and get the kiss from the girl And fight the bad guys and fight the higher kids and it does their babies But it's it literally captures every exciting thing and it's no shock to me that comes from the minds of Stephen Spielberg and Richard Honor and Christopher Columbus, you know, I knew these guys that are Great Perfect movie for me and it was no way I was gonna go out without seeing this now This one a lot of people will be like oh, he's just trying to feel time here fuck that I love this movie. I had my wife buy this blu ray you see right there the blue ray copy of this and that was 1984's dune That's a long ass movie to god I think it's a series came out sci-fi which was more comprehensive to the book.

Yeah, you know more complete to the book was Really really really well done, but the comic-lockland version and sting and you know max on T. Guy when it's like oh Jesus God What a great film there and it has a wonderful soundtrack Toto I believe that and just a great science fiction film You know it was almost impossible to capture at the time, but they did and I love it for me It holds a test of time and it's one of my favorites So I'll jump from from dune to my final three. We're gonna enter into another trilogy here discounting the fact I said we're never gonna mention that fucking movie in this house again. Well, you're eating such really not work Right and I'm going to take them in chronological order Starting with Indiana Jones and the temple of doom.

Nice. Yes I started I started off with you know goes Western Empire and went right into my favorite trilogy and then the one that I the only Trilogy I think that holds par with it is the Indiana Jones trilogy It's just because it's not complete. Here's they all standalone on their own. Yeah, especially the fourth one Yeah, we're back to the future is as a complete Unit this is these all standalone on their own, but the fact that there's these three I Started with with you know, like I said temple doom and I immediately go to rid is lost I saw I can go to the whole you bowl for that the you know But the reason that I chose this one is because of the first of all what a great film it is you say The last crusade is your finale of is my absolute finale for this and I'll tell you why it's because The it brings all of the old characters back to the other state Mary It brings back all the old characters introducing Sean Connery tells an amazing story and literally ends with him riding off into the sunset good way and 24 hours, and that is 1,440 minutes 24 hours perfectly encompassed I would say drop the mic but don't break my mics No, no, I think I would just as the credits roll just kind of close my eyes and be like, okay, whatever's not to happen Yeah, I'm ready to go depending what's about to happen?
