Episode 111: Christmas 2023 episode — Part I

This year's Christmas episode is a two-parter. The fellas tip off Part I by giving their take on the Lakers unveiling their in-season tournament championship banner, and discuss whether or not the NBA marketed the in-season tournament successfully. In honor of Ja Morant returning from suspension, Graham is wearing his yellow Grizzlies hat to show his support for the troubled young star. Sticking with hoops, Arkansas escaped Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock with a win over Lipscomb on Saturday, continuing its streak of less-than-stellar play in front of the Razroback fans in central Arkansas. Aaron Rodgers confirmed to Pat McAfee that he won't be returning to the field this season. It's been the year of the backup quarterback, with QBs like Joe Flacco, Gardner Minshew, Zach Wilson and Tommy "Cutlets" DeVito leading their respective teams. The Eagles, with an ill Jalen Hurts, lose a nailbiter on the road in Seattle. Dak and the Cowboys play like how many thought they eventually would, in their blowout loss to the Bills in Buffalo. The 49ers and Ravens are Graham and Bradley's Super Bowl favorites, and the fellas tell us who they'd put their money on to win the Lombardi Trophy (as of now); then, the guys discuss their fantasy football playoff matchup, and end episode one with Rashard Mendenhall's how-to-stay-relevant-when-you're-a-washed-NFL-running-back tweet.
