This includes talks from guest speakers, a workshop on mindfulness and free heart checkups from the Irish Heart Foundation’s Mobile Health Unit. Laura McHugh fills us in. This Saturday (26th) there will be a Halloween Biodiversity event in Carrick on Shannon. The nature-filled family-orientated event kicks off at the Waterfront Park at 4pm. Pádraig King’s 2-day workshop on how to Switch Off Anxiety and Rewire Your Brain for Success takes place next Tuesday (29th) and Wednesday (30th) in Boyle. Jess O’Rourke, founder of Mud Babies will win your baby over with a relaxed playtime class in The Dock next Tuesday (29th). Halloween week is bringing all the horrors to Carrick Cineplex and Justin Farrell lets us know all that’s coming up with them this week. Breifne rounds off the episode with a peek at this weekend’s Gaelic football, hurling, rugby and soccer fixtures all around the county.
