Episode 112 - Absurdity, Punk, and Oscar Meyer with Food Fortunata (Wheelchair Full of Old Men, Fossil Fuel, Sockeye

Dear Food, It was an honor to finally have you sit down with I Hate Music for the podcast. As a long-time friend and a true hero of ours, having the chance to discuss your work was a personal highlight. The impact you have made as a pillar of outsider music—through Wheelchair Full of Old Men Records and your work with Sockeye, Fossil Fuel, and The Poops—cannot be overstated. During the episode, we wanted to express how fundamental your label and your music have been to our own creative work and our broader perception of art. Thank you for sharing the history of the label since its inception in 1988 and discussing the evolution of your projects over the years. I am looking forward to sharing this conversation with our listeners. Best regards, I Hate Music -------------------- Hosts: Jason Walton and Nick Wusz.
