Together we delve into the topic of living with multiple sclerosis as a family, reflecting on the challenges and experiences we faced in the 90s and early 2000s.Kaitlyn shared her memories of my MS diagnosis during her childhood, highlighting the confusion she felt. We discussed the difficulty of explaining an invisible illness to others, especially when symptoms fluctuate.Kaitlyn also emphasized the value of open and honest communication within families when dealing with chronic illnesses.
