Who is Lou Charle$? Having grown up on Houston rap, Lou reveals how he met Paul Wall—at a Beto rally, of all places—and wound up collaborating with The People’s Champ on “Showin’ Out,” which was released this spring. He shares his experience at the George Floyd / Black Lives Matter protests in Fort Worth, gives a little insight into his forthcoming full-length album, and reflects on how he’s honed his craft and found his voice over the last five years.
