Episode 112 - Pitch Perfect *Listener's Choice*

  College acapella groups vy for the top spot at the big championship in this cult comedy from director Jason Moore and '30 Rock' writer Kay Cannon.  Anna Kendrick plays a sullen teenager who wants nothing more on the first day of college than to remain cool. She ends up joining an all-girl voice-only singing group called the Bellas, who have a long-standing rivalry with the all-boy Treblemakers (hahaha that's a great pun for music geeks).  "Pitch Perfect" is a winning, old-fashioned college comedy that is built primarily on that classic trope of underdogs vs. top dogs.  The two gender-fied groups inevitably end up competing in the big championship.  Australian comedienne Rebel Wilson steals the show as the most all-out Bella of them all.
