The Burros sit down with Pastor Joshua Sexton of Mill River Church of North Carolina. After his father died suddenly when he was six weeks old, his mother moved the family to Charlotte with her parents. Soon she would remarry and move the family to Brevard, a small town in Western North Carolina. As he grew into his teenage years, being raised in a deeply legalistic church and then abused by a church mentor, he began to rebel against the church and began what he termed "an attempted athiest".
