Episode 1124 (Hour 2): Wes Brown, Billy McLawhorn, Hannah McLawhorn and Jason Bryant

In a special overtime edition of our second hour (an extra 11 minutes that didn't make it on-air!), we are joined by former Kinston Free Press crime reporter Wes Brown (2010-12) and local veterans' advocates Billy and Hannah McLawhorn. Wes, one of the top reporters in TFP history and the Major Gift Officer at USC Aiken, shares his journey that brought him through Kinston and some of his favorite stories he covered while he was in Lenoir County. The McLawhorns share all the great things that are going on to help lift our local military veterans, including a Salute Ride on Aug. 10 that will begin at Boneyard Harley Davidsion in Winterville.
