from Jarvis Kingston · host Jarvis Kingston

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 12:6 The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire. Psalm 29:7 DEVOTION Based on Psalm 29 One of the best things we can do is stop and recognize God for who He is. When we ascribe to Him the posture of praise, we no longer focus on ourselves and the weight we carry but on the worship He deserves as the Creator of the universe. Tonight, as you wind down from your day, quiet your mind and look to Him. He is your God. He created you; He loves you, and He wants to bless you with His presence. Let His voice speak into your soul through prayer, meditation, and His Word. Let His promises to you speak louder than the concerns of your heart. Find rest in knowing He is your strength for life. He is your hope for eternity. And He is your peace for this night. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Meditate on the Lord's majesty and power, as described in today's psalm. Think about the fact that His voice is powerful enough to break cedars yet gentle enough to soothe your soul as you lie down to sleep. Allow His sovereignty, power, and gentleness to bring you hope for tomorrow and peace for tonight. CONFESSION: Think of a time when you've allowed your circumstances to overshadow your praise and devotion to God. Confess any fears and doubts you have now that keep you from seeing Him and hearing His voice. Know He is always with you, and His power is always available. THANKSGIVING: Think of a time when God's strength helped you face a difficult time in your life. Praise Him for how He is helping you now and the comfort that brings. Praise Him for His holy presence throughout your day and night, that His kind and loving nature is a part of who He is. SUPPLICATION: Father, I look to You with a heart full of love and thanksgiving for You. Thank You for watching over my life and speaking into my heart exactly the ways I need. Thank You for being my strength, for blessing me with Your peace. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen. Because of God’s presence, we can face the present and the future with confidence and courage. PRAYER “The words of Yahweh are flawless words, as silver refined in a clay furnace, purified seven times.” PSALM 12:6 Dear Lord, You are the author of truth and the defender of righteousness. No pride or deceit escapes Your gaze. I pray for Your swift hand to rebuke the lies in my mind and the pride that seeks to keep me from You. Arise, O Lord! Arise, Holy Spirit! Wage war against my flesh. Sever any pride that hinders my reach toward You. As I lay my head to rest, remind me that every breath is a gift You give. Every moment of rest, joy, and wonder is a precious blessing You bestow. I want to sleep soundly tonight, but I also want to sleep humbly, knowing that there is no true satisfaction apart from You. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support.Repent and Get Baptized
