Episode 1127 - Jarvis Kingston Praise God for when you have felt His comfort and joy in the midst of difficulty. Praise Him for His faithful

from Jarvis Kingston · host Jarvis Kingston

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 13:5 Hear O LORD, and have mercy upon me LORD be thou my helper. Psalm 30:10 DEVOTION Based on Psalm 30 The Bible reminds us that God doesn’t prevent us from facing difficult circumstances, but He does promise to walk through them with us. He is a healing balm in the midst of our pain. When we cry out and release our fear and anxiety to Him, He’s there to comfort and sustain us. We can have His joy with each new dawning day, no matter what our life looks like. Tonight, as you draw near to Him, allow Him to turn your sorrow into joy, your stress into peace, your despair into hope, and your lament into dancing. Rest securely and know that He will hold you through the night as you sleep and renew your body and spirit. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Know that God is your Helper. Consider that He is here to help you, not harm you, and to give you joy and hope for tomorrow. Rejoice in His holy name! Allow His hope and peace to wash over you now and through this night. CONFESSION: Think of a time when you found your security in your success in this world instead of in God's steadiness and His plan for your life. Ask Him to help you find your security in Him alone, not in anyone or anything. THANKSGIVING: Praise God for when you have felt His comfort and joy in the midst of difficulty. Praise Him for His faithfulness. Praise Him for His healing presence in your life. SUPPLICATION: Lord, listen and be gracious to me. I need You. I need Your help and Your healing through this night and into the morning. Help me to have Your joy regardless of my circumstances. Help me to hold on to the hope that You offer so freely. Help my heart to sing and be filled with Your favor. Restore my soul as I sleep and rest in Your arms. To You, I lift up my praise. Amen. Because of God’s presence, we can face the present and the future with confidence and courage. PRAYER “But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation.” PSALM 13:5 Lord, I only want to close my eyes after first gazing upon Your beauty. There are times when the goodness of Your grace and the tenderness of Your character seem far from me. I do not want to fall asleep to the anxious wandering of my thoughts. I want to rest in Your truth. I want to find comfort in Your presence. But God, sometimes I just feel forgotten. I feel like there’s this chasm between You and me. Holy Spirit, come and intercede on my behalf. Translate these groans into desperate songs of praise. Meet me in my doubt and comfort me so that I may sleep under the warm embrace of Your presence rather than the cold surface of my soul. Answer me, God, according to Your steadfast love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support.Repent and Get Baptized
