Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 21:13 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin. Psalm 38:18 DEVOTION Based on Psalm 38 God's Word tells us our sin and brokenness are a part of our story, but they are not the end of our story. God has a plan for our mistakes and failures. He redeems what we've lost and makes our crooked way straight. He works to restore what sin has broken. And there is no sin that will separate us from His love. In this truth, we find deep, peaceful rest. There is renewed hope in confession and repentance, trusting the Lord will heal and protect those who bring their brokenness to Him. He knows the sins of our past, our present, and our future, yet He continues to pursue us; He is constantly drawing us near to Him through the presence of His Spirit. As you meditate on His Word tonight, open your heart to its truths that will bring you comfort. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Imagine God's presence filling your room. He is with you, He is never far from you, and you never have to face any trouble, any fear, or any sin alone. Praise Him for not letting anything separate you from His love. CONFESSION: Search your heart and speak any unconfessed sin before the Lord. Repent and ask God to transform your sorrow into joy. Receive the grace and love He has just for you. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for His forgiveness. Thank Him for never giving up on you. Thank Him for the ways He has brought healing to your life. SUPPLICATION: Father God, I’m so grateful for second, third, and fourth chances with You. Thank You for not leaving me in my sin. Thank You for covering me with cleansing and restoration and the peace and calm You give. I put my hope in You, Lord Jesus. Amen. PRAYER “Be exalted, Yahweh, in your strength, so we will sing and praise your power.” PSALM 21:13 Heavenly Father, I know every good and perfect gift comes from above. You are the source of every blessing that makes my life worthwhile. I pray for a continual shower of truth, grace, and love upon me. If I desire what is right in Your sight and ask boldly without doubting, You will not withhold it from me. But I know with a blessing comes a calling, and I do not want to neglect that calling. As I lay my head to rest, and slip into sleep, remind me that much is required to whom much is given. Prepare me for that tonight. And as I rise tomorrow with the sun, make Your will known to me so I may step into it with gladness.
