Episode 114: Joining the chorus

Psalm 65, as we've seen, invites us to imagine a song of silent praise. The faithful are encouraged to reflect gratefully upon the gracious forgiveness of God and the powerful and righteous ways in which God answers their cries for help. As they enter God’s house, they’re filled with a sense of coming into the presence of God’s goodness and holiness. But the psalmist's vision of God's goodness extends far beyond the temple; we’re invited to join a much larger chorus of praise.
