Episode 114: Matthew 1-3, Psalms 117 & 118, Esther 4-10

In last week’s episode we finished the New Testament with the completion of the Book of Revelation. I had suggested I would fill out future episodes by reading additional Psalms, but having had some feedback, for which I am grateful, I’ll be restarting the New Testament readings beginning with today’s episode. So today I’ll start the Gospel of Matthew with chapters 1 to 3, I’ll read Psalms 117 and 118, and we’ll complete the Old Testament book of Esther with chapters 4 to 10. The first two minutes or so of today’s readings relate the genealogy of Jesus which can be a bit dry if you’re new to the scriptures, but I encourage you to stay with me so you don’t miss the engaging stories that follow.
