MY NAME IS ANDRE BRADFORD I started doing live performances at the age of 15 through my high school's theatre program. I went on to study acting at the USC School of Theatre and after I graduated I moved to Austin. There, in 2014, I found my voice through Slam Poetry. I've now performed my poetry at schools, universities, and venues in 27 different states for thousands of people. I'm a two time Austin Poetry Slam Champion, a three time Texas Grand Slam Finalist, and National Group Piece Champion.  Award-Winning Slam Poet/ Author/ Transformative Keynote Artist Slam Poetry taught me the sound and power of my own story and voice, and my performance poetry programming On Purposeful Empathy is designed to help audiences do the same. After hundreds of performances for businesses, schools, and conferences all over the country, I’ve seen over and over how vulnerable and creative artistry can build rich connections and transformative experiences. My mission is to use my poetry and story to cultivate transformative growth and inspire meaningful connections.
