Episode 114: Stop 2: Portsmouth

Moving on from London, I arrived to Portsmouth for a short stay. I stayed with a friend named Harry who is a student at the university there who is about my age. I really enjoyed my time with him, but the biggest takeaway that I had about my time there was his desire to face conflict and adversity and to learn from it. This reflective practice was impressive to me and it is something that is often difficult to find in a young person. When facing conflict, we can often shy away from it and try to avoid it when we should really take it head on to resolve the situation and to move forward.
