Episode 1147 - Jarvis Kingston Praise the Lord for His power and sovereignty. Thank Him for being the One you can count on and turn to for

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 30:5 God reigns over the heathen: God sits upon the throne of His Holiness. Psalm 47:8 DEVOTION Based on Psalm 47 No matter what is happening in our lives or our world, we can always find joy and hope in the power and sovereignty of the Lord. Praising God for who He is rather than for what He does changes our perspective and allows us to experience all the wonderful things God has for us- His joy, hope, and peace. As you wind down from the day, focus on this truth, acknowledging God is the all-powerful. Rest assured that He controls all the events in your world and all the circumstances in your life. As your King, He cares about your life and works for your good, for you are His, and He is your God. Now surrender to the almighty King and ask Him to speak to you through tonight’s psalm. Allow the truth of who He is to bring you comfort and hope as you sleep. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Close your eyes and imagine God as the powerful, almighty King sitting on His heavenly throne, where He rules the nations and watches over His people. This same King that has the power to create and destroy nations is the King who knows every detail about you and uses His power to protect you and preserve you. Praise Him for the glorious King He is! CONFESSION: Think of a time when you lost sight of God, trusting in worldly things rather than in God. Ask for His forgiveness. Pray He will help you keep your eyes on Him and turn your ears toward His Word as you navigate this world. THANKSGIVING: Praise the Lord for His power and sovereignty. Thank Him for being the One you can count on and turn to for everything. Thank Him for the wonderful inheritance that awaits you as a child of the one, true King. SUPPLICATION: Lord, I'm both grateful and relieved to know that You are sovereign and in absolute control. Help me not to lean on my own, but to trust in You and Your almighty power. I pray for the leaders of this nation, that they would unite and be of one mind toward You. Give them discernment and courage to do the work before them. All glory and honor to You. Amen. PRAYER “For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.” PSALM 30:5 Dear Lord, I know You are with me in every moment of darkness. There is no trial or hardship beyond Your redemptive work. During seasons of intense darkness, I put my hope in the light of heaven. Although the night may be filled with tears, joy will meet me in the morning. You will guard me under Your strong tower. You will uplift me and show me that no sin, shame, or failure is more potent than Your providential love for me. Comfort my soul tonight and teach me how to tuck gently into Your loving arms. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support.Repent and Get Baptized
