Dr Hassoun is the Medical Director of South Oaks Hospital, a 202 inpatient beds hospital, providing services, for children, adolescents, adults ranging from inpatient, outpatient, substance use disorders, as well as specialized programs for schools. He is an assistant professor of psychiatry at the Zucker School of Medicine and director of medical student and ACP students education program. After completing his residency at UCONN in Psychiatry, he completed a Fellowship at the Zucker Hillside Hospital in Pharmacogenetics.
