Send us Fan MailIn this week's episode we talk to Leadville 100 MTB Winner, Melisa Rollins about:How journey into mountain biking (hint: her parents are badass!)Her fueling and hydration strategy for Leadville 2024 (and how that has evolved)Shifting racing strategies to build more momentum and inspirationMelisa Rollins is a professional cyclist who lives in Salt Lake City, Utah. She started cycling casually in 2016 when she signed up for the Leadville Trail 100 MTB on a whim— a race her parents had been racing every year for nearly 2 decades. Crossing the finish line in Leadville that year lit a fire in her, and she went back almost every year with the simple goal of being faster than her previous self. In 2021 her result at Leadville led her to her first pro-contract with Team Twenty24. Here, she had the opportunity to become a more well-rounded bike racer and race many disciplines: road, gravel, mountain bike, time trial, and criteriums. She learned she loves racing just about any discipline on two wheels, and is always eager to spread positivity on the bike. Please note that this podcast is created strictly for educational purposes and should never be used for medical diagnosis and treatment.***Keep up with Melisa: IG: www.instagram.com/melisa_rollins/ Strava: www.strava.com/athletes/11792752Mentioned:Leadville Charity Entries: www.leadvilleraceseries.com/charity-entry/The Feed: https://thefeed.com/teams/nutritional-revolutionFirst Endurance Drink Mix: https://amzn.to/4g1Kzm1Liquid IV: https://amzn.to/3WTTrBCLMNT: https://amzn.to/3yL71PQSkratch: https://amzn.to/3ySm3DoQuick Cooking Oats: https://amzn.to/3T5EEThFirst Endurance Liquid Shot & Styrkr Bars Available on The Feed: (Join Nutritional Revolution's The Feed Club to get $20 off right away with an additional $20 Feed credit drop every 90 days): https://thefeed.com/teams/nutritional-revolutionFirst Endurance Recovery Drink: https://amzn.to/3MoGsTHLeaville - Grand Prix Recap: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxFVh7pWU30MORE NRApply to work with Kyla → https://p.bttr.to/3ZrwzcFUse code NEWPOD10 for 10% off our meal plans → https://nutritional-revolution.com/products/CONNECT Instagram → www.instagram.com/nutritionalrevolutionSponsorship inquiries → [email protected] in having your biomarkers or nutrigenomics checked?
