Episode 116: Crocodile Dundee
from Large Marge Sent Us
We were in a mood tonight, guys. A mood for DUNDEE. Crocodile Dundee to be exact. Crocodile Dundee was the third highest grossing movie of 1986 (ranking behind Top Gun and Platoon) and featured two unknown actors (Paul Hogan and Linda Kozlowski) in a fish out of water story - with a down under twist! Our Dad was obsessed with this movie, which is perhaps why we love it still so much today. I mean Sweetie wept at the ending - so you know it's a GREAT film! Come along on our wild ride as we chat about if we would bone Mick Dundee, Sweetie does a very thorough retelling of the classic climatic scene complete with sound effects, and we play a game entitled "Do Your Best Australian Accent" but really we just sound like cockneys slash people with speech impediments. BONUS we induct not one, not two, but THREE people into the Sweetie Club because we were feeling extra nice tonight.
