Episode 117: Max Feinstein

from Look At My Records! · host Thomas Gallo

I had a wonderful time chatting with Hoboken musician and recording engineer, Max Feinstein for Episode 117 of Look At My Records! Max had a lot of incredible stories about his time working at the legendary Hoboken recording studio Water Music (stories include Joe Piscopo, Cyndi Lauper, The Feelies, and The Thermals), which eventually led to him opening his own space in the Mile Square City called Silver Horse Sound. You’ll also hear songs from his latest solo EP, Betamax , some insights on his writing process, and a live performance of a yet to be released tune! Plus, records from The Feelies, The Thermals, David Bowie, Camper Van Beethoven, and Prince! This episode was recorded at Silver Horse Sound, so big thanks to Max for having me over at his awesome space. You can purchase Max’s music via Bandcamp.
