Episode 1187 - Jarvis Kingston Help us, Lord, to rely not on our own strength but on the abundant grace You freely give us. In Jesus Name !

from Jarvis Kingston · host Jarvis Kingston

Your Daily Prayer 🙏🏾 2 Corinthians 12:9 He calls the humble, not for their strength, but to reveal His power through their faith. God moved in your heart or answered your prayers. Inspired by Psalm 23:6 STORY Bible in a Year: Mary is Chosen Scripture He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 Have you ever felt unworthy or unequipped for something you’ve been called to do? Mary, a quiet young woman from Nazareth, must have felt that way when the angel Gabriel appeared, telling her she would bear the Son of God. In her humility, Mary asked, “How can this be?” But rather than running in fear, she embraced God’s plan with faith, saying, “Let it be to me according to your word.” Mary’s story shows us that God doesn’t choose the strongest or the most qualified; He chooses those who are willing to trust in Him. God’s grace is sufficient for every calling, no matter how impossible it seems. As 2 Corinthians 12:9 reminds us, His power is made perfect in our weakness. Where in your life might God be asking you to trust Him more? Like Mary, you don’t have to be perfect or strong—only willing. Pray today for the courage to say “yes” to His plan, trusting that His grace will carry you through. REFLECTION Reflect on areas of your life where you feel unqualified or unworthy. Pray for a heart willing to say “yes” to God’s calling, even when it feels overwhelming. Let His strength and power be your guide, knowing that He equips those He calls. PRAYER “He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.” 2 CORINTHIANS 12:9 Dear Heavenly Father,When we feel weak, inadequate, or overwhelmed, we are reminded that it is precisely in these moments that Your strength, power, and grace shine brightest. We ask for the humility to accept our weaknesses and the faith to see them not as failures but as opportunities for Your power to be displayed. Help us, Lord, to rely not on our own strength but on the abundant grace You freely give us. In our struggles and trials, let us feel Your presence and power resting upon us, giving us the courage and resilience to endure. Through our weaknesses, may we be a testament to Your infinite strength and love. We pray in the name of Jesus, our source of power and grace. Amen.🙏🏾Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support.Repent and Get Baptized
