Episode 119 -- Hobbit Day 2020! Giving Merry, Pippin, and Sam their due.

Welcome back to the Manor and welcome to our annual Hobbit Day episode!  (Which also marks our second anniversary!)  Each year we talk about Hobbits to celebrate Bilbo and Frodo's shared birthday of September 22nd.  This year, we get into how the movies made the hobbits, especially Merry and Pippin (but a fair bit of Samwise, too) the short shrift and how much more awesome they were in the books. We also talk a bit about what we'll be doing to celebrate.  So pull a pint from the cellar and pull out your favorite pipeweed, and join us in the merriment!  (Get it?
