Episode 119: Our thoughts on the BRZ TS and new WRX Rally Car

Last weekend, Subaru revealed the new BRZ TS which will be available in 2024. This model of the BRZ is Tuned by Subaru Technica International, and comes with Brembo Calipers and tuned suspension. We give our impressions of the BRZ TS and try to decide if the changes to this model make it the best option. Subaru Motorsports and Vermont Sports Car also just revealed the new Subaru Rally Car which is based on the new WRX. They are calling it the 23R Rally car. With the information that we have from the pictures that we have seen, we discuss what they have done to the car and how significant the changes are compared to the previous Subaru Rally Car. From there we have a good discussion about the benefits for a manufacturer that participates in Motorsport, and now that participation can or should be tied into their enthusiast group.
