I am loved by my Father. I am chosen, accepted, and made new in Christ. I don’t have to earn my Father’s love. I don’t have to perform for His acceptance. I belong to Him. Because I am His child, I seek His presence. Because I seek His presence, I desire what He desires. Because I desire what He desires, I give Him my whole heart. And because my heart belongs to Him, my life will reflect Him. I reject what is false and I embrace what is true. I will not divide my allegiance. My heart belongs to the Lord. My hands will be clean. My heart will be pure. My words will be truthful. My life will reflect my Father. I am not trying to become a son or daughter— I am a son. I am a daughter. I am a child of God. And because I know whose I am, I know who I am, and I will live like it. I am God’s child. I belong to Him. I seek Him. I reflect Him. And I will walk in purity. Galatians 1:10 NKJV For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
