Episode 12: Death by Suicide
from Du Barman's Barbecue Hosted by Barman
In this episode we discussed suicide. We questioned the popular notion that suicide victims are in hell. We exegeted Paul's letter to the Corinthians and looked at the interesting practice of baptism for the dead. Bella repeatedly insisted, "victims of suicide" rather than "committing suicide," suggesting a medical approach rather than a criminal approach. Listen to discover our logic for believing that God is able to save post mortem and also our call to create a world where living is more desirable than dying.
