In this week's interview, I sit down with Paul DeFiglia. Paul is currently the owner and operator of the Daylight Recording Studio located in Nashville. Tennessee. Previously, Paul was the bass player for Langhorne Slim and The War Eagles. Next, he temporarily stood in as the Avett Brothers' bass player before landing a full-time position on the keys, touring for several years. In the last 2020-2021, Paul played bass on and co-produced Langhorne Slim's, "Strawberry Mansion" and produced his first full-length solo album, "In Daylight." In part one of this two-part episode. We discuss Nashville's rough year, the improvements and progression of Paul's recording studio, and the inspiration which led Paul to decide on a making cover album.
