Hi boys and girls. Hey guys, what's up? Hey, what's up? A little bit of a low energy intro today.

Hey guys, what's up? Welcome back to my YouTube channel. Smash that like button. Like comment, subscribe, BBs.

Hey, this is the Just2Lays podcast. I'm Courtney. I'm Caroline. And you guys, never last week?

Oh, we had that cute week. We just had a really cute week. We just had the opposite of that week. We had what's known as a bad week.

Real bad week. And you mentioned to me earlier, one of our new friends. A rodeo friend. Recall listeners, you heard a rodeo king.

That was two episodes ago. A rodeo boy. Yes. He on Monday when we saw him was like, this is gonna be shitty week.

Hi, baby! Just kidding. It sure was. Yes.

It was bad. Yeah, but you know. So to try and balance out the bad of the week, we're gonna have a whole new weekend. the whole podcast today where we talk about the stuff we like.

Just stuff we like. Just stuff we like no format mostly. And we're just gonna talk about stuff we like. Yeah, and we've got some great responses.

We even have one that segues perfectly into the stuff we like. The stuff we like until we can't think of something. Exactly. We also have another fun.

We have a treat for you. Listeners, you're in for a treat. Look under your seat. You get a car.

Rinse, wash and repeat. Yeah, undo. Under your seat. In the heat.

Look both ways, pour across the street. Oh, that was pretty good. That was pretty good. Lots of rims.

Yep, that's what we're at. It's like an early 90s rapsunk. Yeah, we mix it. My name is little Cordy and I'm here to say, we got it in an awesome way.

Wow, SoundCloud raps these days. Hit out my SoundCloud, a little Cordy. Yeah, so sorry, responses were good. We had some stuff.

Yeah, so our research boy emailed us. And opened the email with some characters that are meant to look like a lawn mower, which is really. I opened that email, I said, that doesn't look like a lawn mower. And I realized it absolutely does, because the periods behind it are the grass.

The grass, yeah, exactly. And it's not like the one that you ride. It's like a tractor, it's like a push, it's a push lawn mower. Well done.

It's like upright and it's cut in the grass. He's like an artist. Pretty cute. I like it.

Thanks Connor. Thank you. Connor says, hi ladies. You two are wonderful.

Love this last episode. Thanks Connor. I have one request for both of you. I know it is highly unlikely to happen, but why not throw it out there?

Please retake your art class so that I can sign up for it with you gals. Holy fuck, close this closet door. Recall. That sounds like a good ass time.

It's a good ass time. A good ass intro. She has the rougther. So we're recording this on Sunday.

Yeah. Right now, I guess we get to see them all. Pooh. All of our art friends.

Art friends. Yeah. All of them. I can't go to.

One, two, three, four. How many? Five plus one. Yes.

Yep. That's the one. Art friends. Yeah.

Yeah. Come to see that. Which is really nice. Yeah.

It's almost like Connor's in there because I snap shot him sometimes. Oh, that's true. That's right. Yeah.

Yeah. So he's basically there. Connor says, have an amazing day. As always, write a letter, make yourself laugh, play with Legos, sing your favorite song.

Yours truly all caps code. Should we just touch on Legos first? Oh, please. Here's the thing.

Also, you know, the title of our podcast was going to be Here's the Thing. Oh, it's going to be Here's the Thing. Oh, it's going to be Here's the Thing so much. It's so funny.

We should really use it. Fuck you, Alec Baldwin. Come on, Alec. Give it to me.

Give it up. So here's the Thing. I miss Legos. Dude, so much.

Yeah. The demographic that the Legos would do was attacking because the Legos would be about how people like instructions when people are really supposed to be creative. I like building Lego sets with instructions because I like to see what they're supposed to look like and then make it and follow the rules. Yeah.

I think that is such a good time. Oh, me too. I love some order instructions. Yeah.

And so sometimes I go to Target and I almost buy Legos set and then I realize I'm going to put this together and it's going to be a waste of money because I'm not going to do it again. Yeah. And I get sad about that a little bit. You could do it like me.

I just keep, I never take it out of my car and so every time I turn a corner to Sharp, it breaks and then I have to play back together again. Wow. So you could just do that. That's a great idea.

And then like you can set that on your shelf and it looks kind of cool because it's nice. It's not a police car from like a batman. Right. I don't care about.

Yeah. Yeah. I love Legos and I'm the same way. I think there's something so satisfying about like it's the same feeling you get when you build Ikea furniture.

Absolutely. Just like, oh, there's just enough of pieces and they all fit in their own place. Everything is right place. Everything is right place.

By radio. Everything is right place. Everything is right place. That was a good cover.

That was a pretty good cover of that song. Yes. Sorry. You got it.

You got it. You got it. No, I just, the thing that always bothered me because when I was a kid I had like the big Lego bricks that are like the toddler size. Yeah.

Lego bricks. Or tip them. Yeah. Wait, that's a DJ.

Keep going. Yeah. But I like always had like a little problem in my heart that like I didn't want the colors to be all mismatched. Yes.

You know, like I wanted them all to be the same color in the, you know, which is a hard thing. A monochromatic. Early. Yeah.

I just wanted like one column to be green. That's like this tower over here was going to be yellow and I just couldn't handle it. Just can't handle it. Like creativity is cool.

But also creativity can be found in structure. Oof. Rules. Plans.

I love rules and plans. Give me a good, a good list of things you want me to do. Steps. I'll do them.

Steps. Steps. Scaffling. Scaffling.

Scaffling. Your way to a better day. Yes. That's what Legos are all about really.

Scaffling. You're right. Yeah. Yeah.

Thanks for getting us there. Our scaffling guy. Or all caps. Scaffling research boy.

Feeling all the rules. All the rules. Not rules. Okay.

Okay. Rules and rules. Rivers and roads. Oh, don't do that to me.

Roles and rules. Till I meet you. Clap. I don't even know that song.

Rivers and roads. My face. Oh boy. Then we cannot relate.

Is that probably the role in the rule? The what? It's by the the head and the heart. Is that the wrong?

There's too many bands that have a name too close to the. The horse with the ha-ha. A horse with age. A house in the home.

God damnit head and heart. I don't even know your music. Better home to gardens. That's my favorite contemporary indie band.

Hey, we are in a couple of bands. Courtney and I. We've got draft punk. And we've got better homes than gardens.

Better homes, gardens. Not future proper brothers. God. What do you think we are?

Yeah, if we had a record, we would not be on it. No, no, no, sign them. Consider yourself blocked. Oh boy.

Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, guys.

Okay, you're going to be a tangents. Oh, okay. My favorite week. Okay.

I was just saying. Oh, we did. We did a big one. Now we're trying to go.

Yeah, I got it. You're going back. I got it. You're so fun.

No, it's pretty time. A good time. We have another response from good old Emily, our little logger lady. She gave some, what's it called?

Clarification. Yeah. Right. Clarifying detail.

She clarified her job because I wasn't quite sure 100% she was a logger. She said, yes, I am a logger, but she was like, you know, to put some hearts at rest. Yeah. They are trees that are already dead.

Thank you for leaving the trees that still have lives to lead. Emily. Emily Emily. I'm a.

I'm a. I'm a. I'm a. Oh, God.

Yeah. Thanks. Yeah. I forgot about that.

Thank you. She gave us such good. What's called content. She goes, I don't do that.

Maybe it's hers and her head on. Do that. Maybe it has to do with her biggest pet peeve. Yeah.

It's about when people smack their lips or she with their mouths open when they eat. She literally has to go out of her out of the air. Shot because it bothers her so much. And so she actually wants to call it a.

Hey, stop. Hey, stop. I can relate so much. Tell her.

I like mouth sounds or the worst thing in the world. Sounds and this is funny because literally just this morning. My boyfriend is doing it. He does it sometimes.

He just like makes weird sounds with his mouth or like or like he'll just like put water in his mouth and like swish it around his mouth. Oh, and we're literally we're sitting on the couch and he started doing it. And for probably like five minutes, I was just like, stop. Stop.

Stop. Stop doing that. Stop. It's the worst.

I hate it. Yucky. Can't stand it. I'm the same way I have to like leave because I'm.

Classic. Gross. Oh, was it you who came up to me and were like, why don't people? Why can't people chew their mouths close?

Yes, because I was sitting in this place in our schools cafeteria. Yeah. It is that little room by the tree return. Right.

Oh, yes. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.

Everything in there is amplified. Sometimes I get ships when I get soup. I get like a little tiny. What's it called?

I don't know. I just get some chips sometime. Yeah. Opening the bag is the hardest part of my day in that room.

I like a quiet room. I don't want to contribute to a loud room except when I have to open my chips, but it doesn't take a long time. It's over real quick. It's quick.

Except if you are sitting in that room and you don't know the way to. Muffler own noises. Yeah, when eating. Yeah, and I couldn't believe my ears because I was so upset.

Ew. We're in college now. Chew with your mouth closed. It was like the first night you guys were hanging out.

Yeah, Josh was eating cookie. Chew your food. Chew your food. Why don't you see your food?

That's half the whole time. So you're just funny. Okay. Oh, thank you.

Yes. You did it bad. Ew. Ew.

Hey, I'll do that maybe dear Lorde. Chew your food quiet. Remember last week we talked about what we unapologetically love? We will not.

The things we love with. I'm sorry, but Emily unapologetically loves. What are the rings? Oh, she loves it so much that she can't really even go into it here because it would just be too much with a little ha ha ha.

That's sweet. I like I think that's a cute thing when people know like don't even get me started because I won't stop talking about it. That's adorable. Cute.

That is adorable. It's so fun to like stuff that much. Oh, that's cute. That's such a real mood.

Yeah. So fun to like things that much. Yes. Yes.

Yeah. I'll cry. I will. Yeah.

Speaking of things people like. Oh, it's such a good email. We got an email from Maggie. It's Maggie.

And it's Maggie. Maggie. And it was funny because you wrote here. You wrote the subject line.

Didn't even look at the subject line when I opened the email. And she didn't even, it was no intro. She just started talking about things she liked. It is cute.

That is exactly how I want my email structured every time. Yeah. Yeah. So the subject line of the email is things that I like and don't dot dot dot ellipses.

So here we go. We're going to get into it. These are things Maggie likes and doesn't. My heart.

Now he says I like Pokemon Go a lot. And so many people make fun of me for it, but whatever. That's so nice. Yo.

I wonder what level you are now Maggie. Tell me. Yes. I played this in the summer with her.

Oh, I don't play Pokemon Go anymore. I'm sorry. I don't play Pokemon Go anymore. Okay.

I might start again now. Okay. Just says I like talk radio. Turning NPR on before and after school is an awesome and not boring station to listen to.

Oh, it's quite fine. Cute. Love you. She says I enjoy taking the streamline bus, which is our local public transport mainly because people watching and it makes you feel small.

You know? Okay. Cute. Plus you can do stuff like read and talk to strangers.

Dude. Real. Shit. That's so cute and so true.

Yes. Cause I felt that exact feeling on a streamline bus before it makes you feel small. You know? Yes.

Good feeling. Okay. I feel that when I'm in a little airport, not a little airport. When I'm in an airport and walking around like I am going somewhere and so are you.

And we are just small people. We're all just going somewhere. Small planes. I don't even like that.

Why am I saying that? Oh, I will not go. No, no, no, no, no, no. Tiny, no, no, no.

Holy shit. That's my other favorite band, Tiny, no, no, no. Tiny, no, no, no. That's a good one.

That's a good one. She also says, I like reading the Twilight series. Really? Yeah, I mean, like me too.

So it was a time it was a time. How did you deal with put on this? How did you go about reading the, was it the fourth one? Was there fourth one?

Yeah, there's four. So the last one? Okay. I was in middle school during this part.

Yeah. Of the culture time. And you know how they get married and then they have the sec. Yeah, sepp.

I was not. I was not. Sorks, enough to read that Sorks. I had Sorks.

I was not. Sorks, what'd you know? Sorks, and forks. Oh my god.

Because that was the name of the city. That was the name of the town area. Sorks, watching them. Sorks, and forks.

That's fun. Rippers and the roads. They should have called the forthbook Sorks instead of breaking dawn. What a stupid name.

I want to read Sorks and forks. Me too. I wasn't allowed to read the second part. You weren't.

No. Well, you had a mom who, I'm assuming it was your mom who told you you couldn't read that part. You're right. Sorry for making an assumption, but I just figured.

You know. I was like, oh, I'm not a mom. Correct. But she was like, was she teaching middle school at the time?

Yeah, and she read all those books. Right. Right. So I don't think my mom did.

Oh, okay. I don't know. I don't know that she would have kept me from reading it if she had, if she knew. Yeah.

I think I was a freshman in high school maybe. Oh, I have to look at. I have to look at it with a fine time. When that movie or when the book came out.

Did you guys know? Here's a fact about Courtney and me. Courtney was two grades ahead of me. Yeah.

But we're the same age. Yeah. Courtney is super smart. Shh, shh, shh, shh.

Okay. I think it was published in 2008. 2008 was when Barack Obama was elected president. I was in sixth grade.

I was in eighth grade. Yeah. So I was still in eighth grade when it came out. I think I read it that year.

I think that's a, it's an okay time to read about Sorks. Read whatever you want. Why do you like reading that? Let me just say there's a lot of things in those books that were worse than Sorks.

Oh, absolutely. Yeah. So. And a baby clogging its way out of your stomach.

That's worse. Very bad. Then Sorks. Worse than Sorks.

You know how there's that thing that's like better than sex? We should have a whole set up to see opposite. Worse than Sorks. Let's talk about all the things that are worse than Sorks.

Oh, can't do. Here's a list. Love lists. Okay.

Sorry. Back to that. Yes. Maggie says I do not like chocolate and peanut butter together.

No. Got it. Got to disagree with you there. But I'm glad that you were on a Paul Jack about the stuff you don't like.

You real about it. Yeah. Here's the thing. I was standing in my kitchen today thinking about everything that was near me that I could eat.

Yes. And I realized ever since I've lived in this apartment, I haven't had anything that is chocolate mixed with peanut butter. Yeah. That is my favorite.

It's close to one of my favorites. What's your favorite? I don't know what my favorite taste. My favorite flavor.

Your favorite. My favorite. My favorite. I don't know what my flavor is.

Okay. But I do know that candy wise, there's not a whole lot on this world that's better than a Reese's peanut butter. You guys freeze them here. We do.

Oh, because I hate when you pull the paper wrapper off and part of the chocolate sticks to the paper. So if you freeze them, they don't get as melty and they don't stick as much. Oh. Yeah.

Good reason. Yes. I love a Reese's peanut butter cup. I love it.

I was thinking about that today. Yeah. I think chocolate peanut butter is my favorite flavor. Yeah.

I also just love apple peanut butter. Yeah, that's a good one. I thought about my tiny list. Your tiny list.

My tiny list. Is that things that make you feel tiny? Okay. There's two tiny lists.

Okay. I made this list when I was a little kid. Okay. I'm just going to tell the listeners about your tiny list.

This is the OG tiny list. This is everything I loved when I was little. And it was very distinct because normally my list goes on forever. But when I was a little kid it was blankets, pretzels, milk, and peanut butter.

Yep, that's it. Do you like the peanut butter pretzels? They're like a pretzel on the outside of the peanut butter inside? Oh yes, yeah, those are dumb.

Yeah, really good. Also, we, for preschool, were so good at making treats for my class. We got pretzel rods, like long pretzel rods. Like the thick ones.

Yeah, yeah, dip them in chocolate. Dude, put sprinkles on them. That's the stuff. That's a Christmas treat for you.

That's a Christmas treat for you. That's a Christmas treat for you. Christmas treat for you. Christmas treat.

If you're looking for a Christmas treat, here's the best Christmas treat of all. A pretzel rod, dip in chocolate, with tree shaped sprinkles. That's what we used to. The little green and red tree shaped sprinkles, yeah.

That's the one. When I was really applying myself, you know, I'm the kid that tried to eat a graham cracker like a bunny. I would take off all the Christmas tree sprinkles and eat them. Really?

I couldn't commit. I could not commit to that. Interesting. Sometimes we do some with like white little balls sprinkles.

Yes. Were they like shiny or no? A little bit. Those are the tiny ones.

Oh my God. It's a Christmas treat. Yeah. Universally.

Yes. Oh my God. We used to make them all the time. Oh Christmas treat.

Christmas treat. Guys, tweet us about your favorite Christmas treat. It's a Christmas treat. Tweet, please.

Oh, it's too good. It's too cute. All this too cute for me. We're having a good time now.

Christmas treats. Yes. Christmas treats. Maggie, it's fine.

Don't like chocolate beer or whatever. I have a little bit of beef, but I really don't. It's just a joke. She also writes, I do not like coffee.

I am not sorry. Glad you're not. It's okay. You don't have to.

More for the rest of us then. I will take it all. Me too. I'm a good cup of coffee.

I do hate blonde rose coffee. Disgusting. I don't know that I've ever had a blonde rose. Oh, and you even call it coffee.

Really? Yes. Yeah, I'm definitely a big like dark rose person. Me too.

Oh, I get that dark rose. French roast. Mmm. I got to eat that French roast.

I'll give it up. French roast. I know. What do you want today?

I'll give it up. French roast. You know, but not French roast. I want a French roast.

I like Colombian too. I like medium rose fine. But. It's fine.

Dark roses. Where's that? Yeah, I agree. I agree.

I agree. I agree. I agree. Sorry Maggie.

You probably can't relate. No one's sorry. It's okay guys. We love it, you don't.

We're all good. We're all set. That's what I call good clean living. Yeah.

You said okay, that's all. You guys rock. You rock. You too, Maggie.

Thank you for that email. Okay. Before we were recording. Before we were recording.

Got my syllables myself. Before we were recording. Chorogor stories. Chorogor stories.

Sarah Silverman. His like, oh we can read Maggie's email and I totally miss that Maggie email. I was so happy. Yeah, it's funny because we both have access to the email account.

like one of us will read the emails and then, you know, they can't mark just read. So I don't get to be like one of us will get the notification about them, which is fun. Yeah. So then it's always like every week, it's like, Oh, did you see that email?

And we're like, wait, what? So it was good. Yes. Thank you so much.

A little surprise. We said we didn't have a ton of structure for today, but I do have one thing I want to touch on. Yes. And that is the topic of boy politeness.

I have noticed something in these streets. There is a way that, you know, I don't think there's a universal thing equivalent and we can maybe find one. Okay. But you know how when there's a guy in a room and he's standing there or like, or a first day class or something, you know, okay, I'm painting a picture now.

Okay. I actually like the first one because I love the idea of it just being like a room, like a like a rectangular room and it's like dark and there's just a guy standing in the middle of the room, like looking around like, I'm here. I'm here. Hello.

Anyways, yeah. It's like a first day class or something like that. Yeah. So he's a guy and then another guy walks in.

Yeah. And they do that thing. Like sit down, one goes, Hey, man. Hey, man.

Hey, man. Teachers will do that. Like younger, younger boys, teachers. Hey, man.

Hey, man. And then they do like, here's the, here's the other part of this. It's always man. Yeah.

And then they do like a, like a firm, like a pat pat when they ever, whenever they, whenever boy polite, whenever polite boys hug each other as a pat pat. Oh, yes. Yeah. It's like, Hey, man.

Like that's right. Oh, they show they love each other. So boy polite and as consistent calling each other man, even if you don't know, right, the person in front of man, I bet, man, man, man, they try to do that handshake all the time. And you always notice there's one that doesn't know a handshake as well.

Right. The one that starts handshake, like firm, normal standard handshake, and then the thumb one and then the knuckle one. Yeah. Picture it.

Listeners. I just panned the mind. Yeah. Those are the three distinct things I've noticed.

And I think it's really cute. It is universal. You're right. Is there a, is there a girl equivalent of that that you've noticed in your life?

Um, Oh, is it Chica? No Chica. That's a very specific one. There's a very specific brand of women who do that.

He has a brand. It's a Chica brand. A girl. There's chakos for your feet and she goes for your girl.

Oh, that's funny. Can you get a Chica Tam? Look at my sick Chica Tam. It's Chica season.

She's a Chica. What's up? She got Ooh Chica. Okay.
