Episode 12: The Desert, My Mom, And Me By Trent Good
from City High Radio · host City High Radio
Sometimes it's hard for teenage boys and their mothers to see eye-to-eye. That's why, when Trent Good was a freshman, he decided to skip school and run away from home for the day. He wanted to do some thinking and decide his future for himself. In this month's episode, Trent interviews his mother about how she felt on that day. This story was selected by PRX, the Public Radio Exchange, as one of the best youth-produced stories of 2012. https://exchange.prx.org/playlists/285164 It also won an honorable mention from the Arizona Interscholastic Press Association's state-wide journalism contest.
