Episode 120 - Mild Midwest with Abby Kacen

3O0 more episodes and I think we're finally cookin', but in the meantime this will have to do. JOKES ASIDE, we're joined with Cincinnati-based cartoonist Abby Kacen to talk about her comics (Mild Pain, Sid & the Sickos), her community organizing, her work history with nonprofits, her passion for keeping access to resources and information for artist freely available, her development as a cartoonist, and why the midwest kind of sucks compared to the south. Follow Abby on Instagram @mild_pain to check out and buy her work, her free comics resources, and her ongoing comics club in Northern Kentucky. Questions? Comments? Suggestions? Email us at [email protected] and we'll read it on the next episode, or give the Gutter Boys a follow on Instagram and Twitter (JB: @mortcrimpjr; Cam: @camdelrosario).
