Episode 120: The Return of The Wiz

Welcome back one and all to the 120th episode of the "What's Real?" podcast! This week is a VERY different show than a typical "WR?" episode, as The Wiz and the "Hey Edless Horsemen" return. Due to unforeseen circumstances, "Hey Ed" has the week off, and stepping in as The J's co-host for this episode is "The Wizard Behind the Boards" Cam! The typical "What's Real?" episode structure is still intact, though. The opening "Variety Hour" still starts the show. Topics include a happy birthday shout-out to Danielle Harris, a RIP to Ray Liotta, Top Gun: Maverick, the Heard/Depp trial decision, Steeler Stephon Tuitt retiring, the NBA Finals, WWE on A&E announcement, and "Obi-Wan Kenobi". Next up is The J and The Wiz's first big segment. It's "tech talk" with an interesting breakdown of "Web 3", the "Meta Verse", and NFTs. This is followed by another segment that is very personal to both The J and The Wiz. It's their personal account of working together on the independent film scene. Hear all about how the guy's met and have worked on huge film projects together. As is always a WR? tradition, the hilarious closing segment, "Goofs R' Goofs" still takes home the episode.
