Episode 121: Lies Women Tell Themselves with Dr Saundra Dalton-Smith

from Living Wholehearted Podcast With Jeff and Terra · host Terra & Jeff Mattson - Living Wholehearted

Welcome to the second episode in our March series focusing on women in leadership.   Shame, perfectionism, body issues, control … issues women commonly battle … issues that have become magnified over the last years of this pandemic season. Millions upon millions of women are struggling like never before with their mental health. They're believing lies about the limitations placed on their lives, and these lies are choking their joy - crippling their ability to love and be loved - draining the life out of their lives.   Today, in episode 121, we have Dr. Saundra Dalton-Smith, who has wisdom to share with us on these topics and more. She is a board-certified internal medicine physician, author and popular speaker who shares biblical truths to help heal the body, mind and spirit. Dr. Dalton-Smith transparently shares how her past pain has been redeemed through the practical application of God's word. She has practiced clinical medicine for over 20 years and serves as an adjunct faculty member at both Baker College and Davenport University in Michigan where she teaches courses on health, nutrition and disease progression. The author of 'Set Free to Live Free', 'Come Empty' (named the 2016 Golden Scroll Nonfiction Book of the Year and 2016 Illumination Award Gold medalist), and 'Sacred Rest', she has shared her tips on merging faith and medicine with over 16,000 health care professionals to encourage the current and next generation of doctors to treat the whole person.   Want to join our virtual group coaching sessions each month for female leaders?
