In John 3, Jesus says that being a child of God is like feeling the wind blow - but what exactly is he talking about?! Often, like Nicodemus, we wonder at his words but fail to recognize that we're being taught to "let go" and trust the wind that we feel over our hearts each day. Instead - many of us struggle to trust the wind because we're too busy trying to control it. Is that the lesson? Are we supposed to be worked into a frenzy every day trying to control the wind of God?
