Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 14:26 [[A Psalm of David.]] Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness. -Psalms 143:1 DEVOTION Based on Psalm 143 This psalm is a heartfelt plea for God’s attention and intervention. The psalmist calls upon the Lord’s faithfulness and righteousness, acknowledging that God’s character is the foundation of His response. This prayer reminds us that we can approach God not because of our own merit but because of who He is—a faithful and righteous God who loves His children deeply. In times of distress, it’s natural to feel unheard or overlooked. But this psalm reassures us that God is always attentive to our prayers. His faithfulness ensures that He hears, and His righteousness guarantees that His response will be just and perfect. We are invited to bring our petitions to Him, trusting fully in His ability to act according to His good and perfect will. Take a moment tonight to place your prayers before the Lord. Breathe out the frustration of unanswered questions, and breathe in the assurance of His faithfulness. Trust that He hears every word and responds with love and wisdom. A.C.T.S. Confess these thoughts and ask for renewed trust in His care and timing. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for the ways He has answered your prayers in the past, even in ways you didn’t expect. Express gratitude for His faithfulness to guide, protect, and provide for you. SUPPLICATION: Father, I come before You tonight, trusting in Your faithfulness and righteousness. Hear my prayer, and respond according to Your perfect will. Help me to trust in Your timing and to rest in the assurance of Your love. Fill me with peace as I wait on You, and let Your presence be my comfort and guide. PRAYER “In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.” PROVERBS 14:26 Dear God, We come to You in need of Your grace and mercy. We pray that You would give us the confidence and boldness to live with courage and trust that You are in control. Help us to have faith in Your will and plan for our lives. Guide us down the path of righteousness and guide us through any trial or tribulation with grace and strength. Bless us with the confidence to trust in You, for all our days are in Your hands. We cling to Your truth: that You will never leave us nor forsake us, and that by Your grace and strength, we can stand firm in confidence. All glory to You alone!
