Episode 123 - Fair and Balanced

from That Real Blind Tech Show

It's an all new That Real Blind Tech show. Allison, Brian, and Ed gather around the campfire to discuss the latest tech topics. How odd as a lot of it has to do with A.I.   It is being reported that some visually impaired iOS 16.4.1 are having only 30 days in every month. While we could not reproduce this issue we thought it was still worth talking about.   We then dive in to all the hot A.I. topics. We start off discussing the Godfather of Google A.I. leaving the company to warn the world about the perils of artificial intelligence. Next we discuss the NBC Nightly News segment that featured Brian and the Be My Eyes Virtual Volunteer. Microsoft has announced that they are working on a privacy focused version of ChatGPT.   Would you want or trust an A.I. powered Guide Dog out of China?   Criminals are now using Voice Cloning to terrify and scam people. What a world.   With WWDC a month away we figured it was time to discuss some of the rumors we have been hearing about iOS 17.   MuskButt has now owned Twitter for about six months. It has been one heck of a rollercoaster at the Blue Bird. If you have been randomly getting locked out of Twitter account, you are not alone. It's the end of Twitter Auto-Sharing, or is it?   If Mastodon is not for you, maybe the future BlueSky could be your social network choice.   We then discuss dealing with other health issues on top of blindness and how difficult an additional injury or health situation can be. Have you heard of Transabled?   Amazon launched a new feature called Dialogue Boost, just don't plan on using it if you like Audio Description.   And it's more of What's Pissing Off Brian Now and Watcha Streaming, Watcha Reading.   To contact That Real Blind Tech Show, you can email us at [email protected], join our Facebook Group That Real Blind Tech Show, join us on the Twitter @BlindTechShow , or leave us an old school phone message at 929-367-1005, and make sure to visit our website where you can listen to any of our past episodes.
