Episode 123 Welcome to Alcatraz Welcome to the Rock

This episode begins with Laura, Krysta and Dean kicking around about how the flu has run through the family and in consequence of Krysta feeling run down, she has no facts this week. Then they begin to give the history of Alcatraz Island, it being a home to (and then fled by) indiginous peoples to it's discovery by the Spanish in the late 1700's to it's becoming a home to a milirary base in the 1850's to it becoming a military prison, an inescapable prison, to being taken over by Native Americans and finally turned over to the National Park Service. They then discuss some of it's famous inmates, it's escape attempts and it's hauntings.
