Episode 1230: True Treasure in God’s Kingdom

Income inequality and poverty are realities that have marked human history. From the ancient world to our modern societies, the gap between rich and poor raises questions of justice, fairness, and faith. Many people wonder: is material wealth a sign of God’s blessing? Does poverty mean a lack of His favor? In this episode of 10:10 Thrive, we turn to Jesus’ words and actions to find His radical guidance on how we should view wealth and poverty.   We look at the Sermon on the Mount, His warnings to the rich, His conversation with the rich young ruler, and His praise of a poor widow who gave all she had. Again and again, Jesus flips the script: blessing is not measured in possessions but in dependence on God, generosity toward others, and faithfulness to His kingdom.
