The psalmist acknowledges God as King, the sovereign ruler over all creation, and commits to blessing His name forever. It is a reminder that our worship is not confined to moments of joy or celebration—it is a daily and eternal act of recognizing God’s greatness, goodness, and love. To extol God is to lift Him high, to magnify His name with our words, actions, and lives. This act of worship shifts our focus from earthly concerns to the eternal truth of God’s reign. We cease praying for miracles and stop believing in Your promises. Today we declare there is victory in the name of Jesus, and nothing is impossible for the one who raises the dead to life and parts seas! Nothing is impossible for You, Lord. Our trials, whether self-inflicted or inflicted upon us, can be overcome through You. Give us courage to see these struggles through. And fill us with faith in the process!
