from Jarvis Kingston · host Jarvis Kingston
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Philippians 4:13 Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul! 2 I will praise the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. Psalms 146:1-2 DEVOTION Based on Psalm 146 This psalm is a call to personal and wholehearted praise. The psalmist begins with a command to praise the Lord and then speaks directly to his soul, encouraging deep and sincere worship. It’s a reminder that praise isn’t just an outward expression but an inward posture of the heart. When our souls are aligned with God’s greatness, our praise becomes authentic and transformative. Praising God from the depths of our souls acknowledges His faithfulness, love, and sovereignty. It’s a way of surrendering our worries, burdens, and distractions, replacing them with gratitude and trust. When we praise, we declare that God is greater than our circumstances, and our spirits are renewed in the light of His glory. Take a moment tonight to engage your soul in heartfelt praise. Breathe out the noise of the day, and breathe in the peace of God’s presence. Let your praise rise from deep within, honoring Him for who He is and all He has done. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His infinite goodness and majesty. Rejoice in His faithfulness and love that inspire praise from the depths of your soul. Celebrate His unchanging nature and His presence in your life. CONFESSION: Reflect on times when your praise has been distracted or shallow. Confess those moments and ask God to help you engage fully in worship with your heart and soul. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for the joy and peace that flow from praising Him. Express gratitude for the privilege of worshiping Him and for the ways He has revealed His faithfulness to you. SUPPLICATION: Father, I praise You with my soul tonight, offering You my whole heart. Teach me to worship You with sincerity and love. Help me to focus on Your greatness and to find renewed strength and joy in Your presence. Let my soul rest in Your goodness and glory. PRAYER “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” PHILIPPIANS 4:13 Dear Heavenly Father, When I am weak, You are strong. When things seem impossible, You remind me that anything is possible. I know, and declare firmly, that I can do anything as long as it glorifies You. All the strength needed to accomplish Your will is available through Christ. Give me bravery, comfort, and endurance as I seek to faithfully follow You. Cheer me up when discouragement arises, and empower me when I feel weak. In Jesus’ name, Amen.🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITYBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support.Repent and Get Baptized
