Episode 1235 - Jarvis Kingston Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints Psalm 149:1 !

from Jarvis Kingston · host Jarvis Kingston

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 139:13-14 Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. -Psalms 149:1 DEVOTION Based on Psalm 149 This psalm invites us to sing a new song to the Lord, a fresh expression of our gratitude and worship. A new song symbolizes renewal, reminding us that God’s mercies are new every morning and that our praise should reflect the ongoing work of His grace in our lives. Worshiping together in the congregation of saints amplifies this joy, as we celebrate His goodness in community. Singing a new song is not just about creating something new but about recognizing the ways God is continually moving in our lives. It’s about letting His love and faithfulness inspire fresh gratitude and heartfelt worship. When we come together with other believers to praise Him, we declare His glory and build one another up in faith. Take a moment tonight to sing your own new song to the Lord. Breathe out any stagnation in your spirit, and breathe in the refreshment of His grace. Let your praise reflect the ways He is working in your life right now. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His creativity and for the new mercies He shows each day. Rejoice in His faithfulness that inspires fresh songs of praise. Celebrate His goodness and the joy of worshiping Him with others. CONFESSION: Reflect on times when your worship has become routine or uninspired. Confess any stagnation in your heart and ask for a renewed spirit of gratitude and joy. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for the opportunity to sing a new song and for the ways He continually works in your life. Express gratitude for the gift of worshiping in community and the encouragement it brings. SUPPLICATION: Father, inspire me to sing a new song that reflects Your ongoing work in my life. Renew my spirit of worship and fill my heart with fresh gratitude. Let my praise encourage others and glorify Your name in the congregation of saints. PRAYER “For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” PSALM 139:13-14 Dear Lord, There is confidence and joy in knowing I have a purpose. You have purposefully crafted me and predestined good works for me to walk in. Envelop me in Your love, acceptance, and power so I might walk confidently. I know every step I take for You can be taken with self-assurance. For if You are for me, who can be against me? In Jesus’ name, Amen.🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITYBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support.Repent and Get Baptized
