Episode 124 - Daren Thomas Magee
from Love Is The Author Hosted by Jaymee Carpenter
Daren Thomas Magee is the prolific visionary artist behind the wildly popular design-meets-humor lifestyle brand known as Real Fun, Wow! For nearly 5 years he co-hosted a podcast with Jaymee titled Mystical/Cynical, a hilarious show about radical empathy which generated three seasons worth of episodes and a loyal fanbase around the world. Mystical/Cynical came to a close this past September, and this is their first long-form conversation since. Conversations about laying it all on the line for your art, the subtle and pronounced effects of micro-dosing mushrooms, integrating home grown spiritual realizations, the importance of humility, and the bewilderment of Love are all topics covered, plus Jaymee invites Daren to lead his first guided meditation at the end of the episode, so make sure to grab your Real Fun, Wow! cushion and stay a while.
