Episode 124: Global Dance - UP! March 2021 Mardi Gras Anthems 15

It's that time of the year again. Sydney's annual Mardi Gras festival and party is on, although this year it is a far more scaled back event due to Covid19. Regardless however, the traditional MG Anthems sets still go ahead. This year I've used some original extended mixes of tracks when they were released and blended them with some excellent updated versions of other party classics. The 15th edition kicks off with 2 original mixes of "What You Want" by Future Force and "Love Come Rescue Me" by Lovestation. For those of you old enough to have partied in the 90's, you should remember them instantly. The very talented and generous Mark (Dirty Disco) was kind enough to provide me with 3 of his new remixes which feature in this set. He does an awesome job on remixes for Kylie Minogue, Madonna and The Pointer Sisters, so thank you Mark x Wayne G. also kindly gave me 2 of his private mixes for the set. You will recognize the tracks from Shauna Jensen and Bek Jensen. Australia's Dom de Sousa and my good friend Rob (Division 4) also helped out with their remixes for Christina Aguilera and Tina Turner. Throw in some classic tracks from Alice Deejay and Blondie and Mardi Gras Anthems 15 is a euphoric, hands in the air trip down memory lane.
