Episode 124 - Hearts and Minds *Criterion Critique*

from In The Queue - Film Conversations with Andrew and Phil · host Andrew and Phil

Hello to all the ITQ fans out there!  As alluded to in the last episode, Andrew and Phil will refrain from reviewing new films for the next several weeks while Andrew recovers from surgery.  Get well soon, Andrew!  In the meantime, our intrepid podcasters are delving into their Criterion Collection DVD library for their discussions.  "Hearts and Minds" is a classic documentary, perhaps the most definitive Vietnam War doc ever made.  Andrew and Phil have a scintillating conversation about the film's influence on other documentaries.  An influence on Michael Moore's work, "Hearts and Minds" holds up quite well 40 years later.   Note - This episode was recorded at a lower audio quality.  Those responsible have been sacked.
