Episode # 124 "When You Feel Surrounded, Trust in the One Who Surrounds You!"

Are you walking through a moment in your life that you feel utterly powerless? Is it hard to trust God? Do you feel surrounded by thoughts or people that attack your character? Perhaps, the situation has you feeling trapped and cornered. How do we battle feeling stuck, in a rut, or hard to trust God at the moment? I get it! Life is difficult to hold onto the shield of faith. Therefore, let me give you a bit of encouragement that will stir your heart and help you take the next step with Godly confidence! The Bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not (do not depend on) on your understanding. (6) Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take (make your paths straight)." (NLT) It's so easy to read this and get hung up on the "Trust the Lord" part and forget how hard it is to not lean on our understanding! It's a struggle is real! But if we read above in verses 1-4 in Proverbs, it reminds us that we have fatherly advice to forget the commands and teachings of the Lord, which the Bible reveals to us. We can be reminded in Psalm 139 how fully known by God we are and anything we try to hide from Him, He already knows. I don't know what struggles you are facing today, this past month, week, or year, but if you are feeling like the weight of the world is on your shoulders and you have no room to move.... then THIS message WILL encourage you!
