Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 John 3:16 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. -Matthew 22:37 DEVOTION Based on Matthew 22 In this verse, Jesus declares the greatest commandment: to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind. This love is not just emotional but a deep devotion that engages every part of your being. Loving God with all your heart means giving Him your deepest affections. Loving Him with all your soul means surrendering your life to His purpose. Loving Him with all your mind means seeking His truth and aligning your thoughts with His Word. This is a daily choice to honor Him above all else. Take time tonight to reflect on how you love God. Breathe out distractions and breathe in His presence. Ask Him to help you grow in wholehearted devotion. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His faithfulness, goodness, and holiness, which inspire your full devotion. Reflect on His unmatched worthiness of all your love and worship. CONFESSION: Think of moments when your heart was divided, your soul preoccupied, or your mind distracted. Confess these times and ask God for a renewed focus on Him. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for His unconditional love that draws you closer, even when you falter. Celebrate His patience and His willingness to pursue a deeper relationship with you. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to love You completely—with my heart, soul, and mind. Teach me to make You the priority in my life, shaping my actions, thoughts, and choices. May my devotion to You grow each day, reflecting Your love in all I do. PRAYER “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” JOHN 3:16 Dear Lord Jesus, I could live a thousand lifetimes and never be able to fully express my gratitude for Your sacrifice on the cross. You demonstrated perfect love by marching up to the cross and being slain on my behalf. Thank you for the gift of eternal life, for I know the price was precious to attain it. Such selflessness and courage are beyond my comprehension. I pray that You would empower me each day with that same love. Give me fearless love, enduring love, and impartial love to show the world.
