Hatred fuels conflict, creating division and strife, while love seeks unity, forgiveness, and restoration. Love doesn’t ignore wrongdoing but chooses grace over retaliation, working to heal and reconcile rather than stir up discord. When we love others as God loves us, we reflect His character, covering offenses with forgiveness and seeking peace. This kind of love has the power to transform relationships and bring harmony where conflict once reigned. Take time tonight to examine how you respond to conflict. Breathe out anger or resentment, and breathe in God’s love. Ask Him to help you choose love over hatred and to be a peacemaker in your relationships. A.C.T.S.
