Crypto exchange Binance.US is building a space in Portals, a metaverse platform built on the Solana blockchain. Portals recreates a dense urban environment where users can explore buildings and interactive rooms. PayPal (PYPL) is looking into launching its own stablecoin as the company grows its crypto business. WisdomTree, an asset manager with over $76 billion in assets under management, announced Thursday that it had added bitcoin futures exposure to its commodities-focused Managed Futures Strategy exchange-traded fund (ETF). The move comes a month after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rejected WisdomTree’s application for a spot bitcoin ETF, though the company has since refiled. The team behind one of Solana’s largest projects is midway through a $100 million fundraising to expand operations.
